This review was edited from a very fair three stars, down to one. Please read to learn what you are getting into when choosing this service. Original review: Tim is a really nice guy. Very good communication and eagerness to help. Answer calls or called me back when I left a message. I was a bit disappointed that they could not resolve my issue with my hard drive. It's understandable that it may have been out of their abilities -1 star. I still paid him for his time which I felt was fair. I was very frustrated that they gave my hard drive back in pieces (see picture) = lame! -1 star. I'd trust Tim for future projects but would set an upfront contract to return my items whole next time. Overall I would do business again and recommend others to his business. Support local businesses. Edited on 5/7/25. On 5/7/25 Tim called me to explain that he felt the above 3 start, honest review was unfair. Tim got defensive and argumentative, frequently cutting me off to dump his emotional rationalization. He claimed that returning my hard drive in parts was not his fault and that the posted image was not a fair representation of his service. That is such an insane take. When Tim initially called me to tell me to come pick him up the hard drive and that he could not restore my data, he said "I didn't fix anything so I don't want to charge you, but if you feel it is fair, 20$ is fair to cover my time." I agreed with Tim that 20$ was fair even if he could not recover my data. Upon pick up arrival Tim insisted that I didn't owe him anything and I mentioned the convo about 20$ being fair for compensation for his time. He broke a 50$ bill for me and thanked me. During his call to me about the unfair review, Tim had the audacity to claim the 20$ I paid him was "not enough and I should have charged you more." It is incredibly unprofessional to try and leverage those agreed upon terms and manipulate me to make me feel bad for him about his service and my review. It is a significant red flag for Tim's business practices. Its one thing to want to try make things right with a customer, but its another to call and harangue a customer about the fairness of a review and service, while guilt tripping about fair business representation, and fees. I will absolutely NOT be coming back and I no longer trust Tim and his business with my personal belongings. I strongly suggest you take this review into consideration when choosing his business.

To say my experience with this shop was terrible is a large understatement. I first reached out to Tim (Shop owner) after a recommendation by a local game store in which I inquired about replacing potentiometers on an xbox controller. I was assured that this is a repair that he is able to complete and we set up a time for drop off. The time frame for completion was inconsistent as he was constantly busy even after accepting my repair. After over a month I was notified it was complete and ready for pick up. Within moments of picking the controller up I noticed that the same issue persisted and was told by an employee to "mess with it and see if it winds up working itself out" Reluctantly I took the controller home and had no luck with the suggestion. I reached out to Tim to express my displeasure (see photos) and after multiple back and forth emails (in which I was initially told to cover shipping both ways) he would take it back and complete the repairs again. I sent the controller back and after a few more weeks I was advised that the repairs were successful and the controller was sent back. The controller arrived and more damage had been done in the form of broken screw posts which were noticed by a large gap between the panels along with missing screws. I removed the rear grips to see broken plastic screw posts on the bottom of each handle and a missing screw on the top. This damage did not exist prior to allowing this business to perform "repairs". Mistakes can happen during repair however it was put "back together" and sent out. There is no way that upon reassembly this damage was not noticed. It was ignored as if it would fly under the radar. Make your own decisions about utilizing this shop for your needs however you have my experience and I regret supporting this "business" in any form. The time frame for this entire experience began from drop off on 07/17 and it arrived back at my home on 09/03.

*****I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING AT ALL COST. ****** This business is run by a very unprofessional, rude and belligerent man. My husband called after hours on Wednesday to leave a message. He called his cellphone back at 9:13 pm and told us we could drop off my pc at 10pm. So on the 9th of December I took my Pc to him for WiFi and Bluetooth issues. I was charged $80 for a windows download (he downloaded 10 I already had 11 on my PC). I was also charged $30 for a Bluetooth adapter which I bought the exact same one off amazon. Then he proceeded to charge me $20 for a WiFi adapter. But these did not fix the issue for my pc in my house. I called him back within the hour of picking it up and he told me to bring it back. I took it back right away. A few hours later he called me back letting me know he fixed the issue. Which he did not do anything to it. He downloaded 3 games on it and played for a few hours. He calls me back letting me know everything works great on his shop. He told me I have to connect an Ethernet cable to it. Remember this was within 24 hrs of being charged for a WiFi adapter…. Fast forward a week. I continue to have the same issues with it and windows 10 was on it. I prefer windows 11 and already paid for that so that’s what I wanted on my PC. Today 12.18 I am told he will refund me for the adapters but he won’t refund me my $80 for ā€œlaborā€/Software download. So I am now out $87, he made the comment ā€œ That I can take him to civil court, and it cost $200 to just file.ā€ I feel not only like he stole money, I also feel he took advantage of me not being super smart cause I am new in the PC world. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND AVOIDING AT ALL COST.
