Usually a big advocate for Tacos El Gordo but after the experience I’ve had today I will not be returning . As soon as I got my plate of tacos I looked at my chorizo tacos a little funky cause the meat didn’t look all the way done it was still a little pink . As I’m eating I find a hair in my hot sauce , I let it go thinking maybe it could have been me or my friends hair . About 10 minutes later my friend is continuing to look at her plate I asked her what she’s looking at she also found a hair . As she is chewing her taco she then finds a huge piece of plastic in her mouth from the chorizo meat and it’s clearly visible the plastic still had raw meat inside ! We tell our waitress ALL OF THE PROBLEMS WE HAVE ENCOUNTERED THROUGH OUR VISIT and the owner who I believe she said her name was Julia ,comes from the back apologizes to us as she proceeds to try to justify why there is plastic in the chorizo meat and it’s “just from when they throw the meat on the grill” she said we didn’t have to pay for our meals and then my friend tried to be generous enough to still pay for the drinks and then the owner decided that we are going to have to pay for the first initial platter that had the hair because we chose to ignore it . From now on I will be saying something as soon as I see something I will not just “let it go” . I will not be returning to eat here or the Lancaster location I am...
Read moreIf you're looking for a delicious Mexican restaurant that never disappoints, then look no further than this place! I've eaten here three times already and each time I've been blown away by the fresh, high-quality ingredients and the amazing flavors.
The tacos and fajitas are some of my favorites, and they are always so filling and satisfying. The meat is perfectly cooked, and the vegetables are so fresh and flavorful. I especially love the variety of salsas and toppings they offer - it really takes the dishes to the next level.
But it's not just the food that keeps me coming back - the staff is also super warm and friendly. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel right at home. They are always attentive and ready to answer any questions you may have about the menu or the ingredients.
Overall, I highly recommend this Mexican restaurant. The food is fresh, tasty, and always satisfying, and the staff is warm and welcoming. Whether you're in the mood for tacos, fajitas, or any other delicious Mexican dish, this place is...
Read moreI have heard nothing but good reviews about this business and that's just from when they were just their food truck parked routinely on Rothsville Road conveniently right before Turkey Hill. Unfortunately for me, they have been successful enough to have gotten a restaurant downtown Ephrata which I had to walk approximately 30 minutes to finally decide to see what all the rave reviews I had heard were about. I am glad that I chose to do so. I regret that it took me so long to find out. The restaurant is beautifully designed, decorated, and it seemed to have a "Latino" theme for the background music which I also enjoyed. The 2 gentlemen were very professional and very courteous and friendly to me as well. I recommend the restaurant or (if they are using the food truck), the food truck if they are also going to utilize it. I had chicken quesadilla and it's a surprising 12" which I chose to eat on my way home and I had some leftover...
