Cobb's Second Time Around Thrift Shop — Local services in Erie

These are awful people that run and own this store. Complaints have been filed with the BBB, and the Consumer Protection Agency in Erie. They will say anything to get you to buy their shoddy and dirty junk, and then when it doesn't work and you try to return, they become rude and downright violent. I was assaulted by the owner when I tried to return an item that the manager, Brenda, swore up and down worked perfectly--I even offered to take store credit for the item. I felt that it had been misrepresented (and legally, it had been). When I tried to bring it back the owner actually got up in my face, and tried to push me out of the store with her huge belly--then she pushed me to the ground! In full view of customers and staff. I am a decent and honest person, but I work hard for my money like everyone else. I would have never bought the item if the manager hadn't sworn that it worked. I can't believe these people are still in business. I was seriously frightened for my well being, and the owner threatened to kick my ass--I still can't believe it. I'm a 44 year old mother who is far beyond a fist fight in a public store. What trash those people are. Do yourself a favor and don't shop here--the awful beast of an owner doesn't deserve your hard...

Never buying from here again! Spent 600 on a couch that was infested with BED BUGS and cat fur(I’m allergic). Brought attention to the owner about the cat fur initially and was told they could do nothing about it so I simply left the couch in my living room for decoration but never used it and later on found out the itching was bed bugs once it spread to my room. I brought this to the owners attention and she brushed me off and did absolutely nothing about it.

They claim their products are good for three months after being sprayed with insecticides but I looked up the product and all it does is kill on contact but once it’s dry it does nothing to prevent any future infestations. Even after looking up the insecticide and telling the owner she was wrong she still refused to even give me a partial refund or take accountability for the issue. I’m never coming back here again and I hope you...

I always find something when I'm here! The deals are great. They change the sale colors regularly which is super awesome. The stuff is already reasonably priced and then to get discounted on top of that! Plenty of stuff is brand new or gently used. There's literally something for everyone here. Also they do punch cards! So you can grab something for 10$, with the sale colors it could be 25-75% off, and if you have a full punch card you take ANOTHER 10% off.... You can't beat deals like that!! I got all this plus a few other things n only spent 21$!!!!...
