I had an unfortunate experience at Dave's computer repair shop that left me feeling dissatisfied and frustrated. I brought in my expensive Dell XPS 13 laptop, which wasn't turning on, and was quoted $75 for a diagnostic. I left my laptop with its original charger and was told to expect a call in 3-4 days. However, on the 5th day, I had to call Dave myself to get an update on my laptop. He informed me that the motherboard was fried and that it wasn't worth repairing. I was disappointed that he didn't notify me of this earlier, as I believed it was my decision to make whether to repair it or not.
When I went to the shop to retrieve my laptop, Dave handed me what appeared to be the SSD in a small plastic bag and a flash drive with my data. It was unclear why he didn't reassemble my laptop, but I paid the $75 and declined his $20 offer for the "unsalvageable" laptop. As I was leaving, I realized I had forgotten the original charger, so I called Dave to inform him and returned to the shop shortly after. Dave handed me a charger, but it wasn't the original one. When I pointed this out to him, he searched for the original charger, but couldn't seem to find it. I felt like I was being scammed, as the experience had been unprofessional and unsatisfactory from the start.
Eventually, Dave gave me a charger that was still not the original, but appeared to be brand new with some plastic still on it. As I'm not an expert in computer hardware, I can't be sure if anything was missing from the internals of my laptop, but the experience left me feeling skeptical and frustrated. I wouldn't recommend this repair shop to anyone, as it seems like a scam and a rip-off. Potential customers should be aware of the unprofessionalism and lack of customer service they...

Just as my children returned Dave drove up glaring at me.My first thought is ,I've parked in front of his store and there is some kind of security issue and he figures I'm the cause.I'm an easy going person so I thought I'd get out of the car and talk to him and maybe discuss my computer issue but my girls (3) all teens were frightened by the way he was starring us down and asked me to close the door and leave.Just then he started honking his horn at us and looking even more crazed. My daughter said,"Mom i think that's Dave and he wants his parking space".Well from where I sat it appeared he was in a parking spot, besides there was another next to me.I began to back up as he was pushing forward as though he was going to ram into me if I didn't move but the alley behind me was one way so I decided to go around him and as I did he yelled,It's my property you who@#(rhymes with cores) and jumps out of his SUV and yells stupid bitc@#(rhymes with glitches) Get this, you know what I noticed after"All" that......he parked in the spot next to the one I was in ,after I left...
I DO NOT recommend this place. Came in for a simple battery replacement for my laptop, and first of all the owner wasnt very polite and made it seem like you were wasting his time. He gave me an estimate for a battery repair and told me it'd take about 3-5 days for it come in. After not hearing back for about a week I decided to give a call to ask about my battery progress. He said "uhh, it looks like we dropped the ball on this one". Wow, he forgot to order my battery. Then he told me that he ordered it and it would be in the next day Friday at 2. The battery didn't come in the next day. I had to wait over the weekend(they close), for Monday when my battery finally did arrive. Then to make matters worse, he ended up charging me almost $40 extra than the estimate. A simple battery replacement ended taking nearly 2 weeks and cost me way more than it should. DONT come here, save your money...
