As a frequent visitor to your property The Tree House Village over several years, I feel compelled to write you about an incident that occurred with Pat the lady that met me at the property. Upon arrival Pat failed to greet us in a friendly matter and displayed very inhospitable behavior while showing the cottage. Being thick skinned this did not bother me as I loved the cottages and had stayed there with my friends half a dozen times before with no problems. However this made my friend a little uncomfortable about staying there. After showing the cottage Pat locked the door and drove off without saying a single word. I NEVER SAID I DID NOT WANT TO RENT THE COTTAGE. We would have rented the cottage if this had not happened. Perplexed by Pat’s inhospitable behavior we got back in car and begin searching for a new place to stay. We may have sat in the car for about 10 minutes and was about to drive off when Pat drives back up and approaches our car. I thought she may have come back to see if we wanted the cottage, instead she immediately displayed very hostile behavior towards and me and accused me of peeping in cottage windows of the other visitors there and creeping around the property. I NEVER REFUSED TO LEAVE BUT DID QUESTION AS TO WHY I WAS BEING ACCUSED OF PEEPING IN CABINS. I assure you we have never let the car since Pat had left before. Pat threatened to call the cops and order me to immediately leave the property. A polite could you please leave would have been the correct way to handle this rather than all this threatening behavior Pat displayed. As a business owner myself I know a customer friend attitude is key, Pat defiantly fail to represent your business in a friendly manner that would entice customers to rent there. I don’t really know if you will doing anything with this information but I know you have spent a lot of money and time building a beautiful property there so I felt compelled to write.
IT IS SAD THE MANAGEMENT HAD TO RESPOND IN ANOTHER REVIEW AND LIE AND DISTORT THE FACTS ABOUT THE INCIDENT. I WARN YOU TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE ESPECIALLY PAT. I WAS ABSOLUTELY NON CONFRONTATIONAL AND DID NOT DESERVE TO BE ACCUSED OF PEEPING AND CREEPING AROUND THE PROPERTY BY A RUDE INN KEEPER. I TRIED TO QUEST PAT ABOUT THE FALSE ACCUSATIONS AND SHE JUST THREATEN TO CALL THE POLICE. WE RESPECTED HER WISHES AND LEFT AS THATS WHAT WE WERE ABOUT...
Read moreWe stayed two nights in the Hideaway at Piedmont House. We had originally booked the Victorian as we were traveling with our adult daughter and that room has a king size and twin bed. When we arrived Pat graciously upgraded us to the Hideaway which has two king size beds. Our daughter was thrilled to have a large bed to herself. This is a charming old inn. For those who are accustomed to a room set up and decorated from a box sent by the corporate office this might come as an adjustment. Each room is individually decorated and reflects the jumbled Victorian Era atmosphere befitting a structure that has been a working lodging since 1880. Nothing would have been more out of place than having converted it and its contents into clean modern lines. The entire town is built on the vertical. All the roads in the historic district are either going uphill or downhill. You look down on the roofs of the next street over and everything in the historic district is accessed from flights of stairs. If you want flat access and elevators Eureka Springs may not be for you. If you want high quality artisan shops, fine dining, and a place with personality, and you can allow yourself to step back in time and away from brand new sparkling everything, you have found the right place in the right town. Piedmont House and the All Seasons properties are located on the Red Trolley loop, but are easily accessible by foot to the historic district shops and restaurants. Our room had a new deep soak tub and a walk in shower as well as a refrigerator and microwave. The key is to look through the website and see what you are choosing. Each room is different, not like your average corporate hotel. There is not a ubiquitous uniformity, so take a look and understand what you have chosen. Pat and her staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. I lost not one but two personal possessions during my stay, one being my purse, and they retrieved it and returned it to me in tact. NO MATTER WHAT YOUR GPS TELLS YOU DO NOT TURN ON...
Read moreWe spent 4 wonderful days in Eureka Springs, Arkansas at the Daffodil Cottage at All Seasons Luxury Properties from June 14th thru 18th. We could not have had a nicer hostess than Pat, and stayed in the Gazebo Suite. The grab and go breakfast each morning was great, and the snacks she had out for anytime were very nice, with water and drinks whenever you needed it. |The suite was wonderful, very clean, with whirlpool tub, kitchenette with micro wave, fridge, and coffee maker. There was a separate room from the bedroom, for watching tv, or just sitting around. We especially enjoys the front porch of the suite that faced the garden area for evening drinks and morning coffee.|Everyone at the property was so friendly, and thanks to Kevin and Sandra, we really enjoyed our time at the Gazebo and singing and playing guitars.|You guys were wonderful. All of the people working there were extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks you for making our stay so nice.|While there we went to several places for food and drink, Chelsea's, New Delhi Bar and Grille, Main Street Cafe, and the Rogue Manor Inn. All the food was fantastic, and it was great to see some of our friends we have made locally down there over the last few years.|We went to The Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge that rescues big cats, tigers and lions among other animals and they are doing a wonderful job of taking care of the animals. Very nice place and worth visiting. We also went to the Blue Springs Heritage Center, another awesomely beautiful place to walk and take in the gardens and spring.|If you haven't been to Eureka Springs, you are really missing something, but be prepared to walk up and down hills and from one end of downtown to the other. There was a band playing in the the park, everyone having a great time. The people of Eureka Springs are all so friendly and we will definitely be back.|Again, thank you Pat, Kevin, and Sandra for making our trip so...
