Iām new in town and am looking for a nail salon, wonāt be coming back here. I left not getting what I wanted and $55 out of my pocket. I came in wanting an entirely new set, but my tech, Tina, insisted I just get a fill and ārepairā the one nail that actually lifted. My nails ended up being crooked & uneven in shape. When I told Tina about my crooked nails, she said she āfollows the nail bed and not the fingerā, which I get because Iāve been told this before but my nails were quite literally filed crooked at the top šš. They did not look this when I came in. When I asked about removing them, I was told itād be an additional $15. While I contemplated if I even want to spend the additional $15 for removal the owner/manager finished his client and called me over. I told him my nails were crooked & uneven in shape and I just wanted them to be straight. Instead of just filing the top he filed the sides & completely changed the nail shape on one hand š« š« . I did not want the shape so I asked he not do it to my other hand, just file the tops of the two crooked nails on my other hand. I have OCD so it may not be noticeable to others but I am going to hyper fixate on this until itās fixed. I didnāt have an attitude or anything when addressing my issues. Skeptical? Yes, $55 for a cut down and fill seemed a bit high for me so I asked for clarification on pricing⦠But I was never rude or disrespectful. After the owner changed the shape on one hand when I only asked for my nails to be straightened, I was slightly frustrated. The owner made me feel like a complete nuisance for wanting what I asked for so yeaaaah, I wonāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy sister has already posted the experience, but I wanted to add to it. It was very unprofessional when we came in that my sister and I waited for 25 minutes and when we were beginning to have service, they finally came over Jenny and another person my sister had her feet already in the water and then the gentleman came over and told her she had to move. That was the part that was unprofessional. She was already started. He didnāt offer a towel. Her feet were wet and so she moved over then it went on to the point that the gentleman the tall gentleman came over later to ask her did she want the service? She said no and he started laughing. Another thing that I noticed was that they were no other African-Americans in the shop. I am a special education teacher visiting from the Atlanta Columbus area and I would like to ask every African-American teacher to boycott this shop. I felt that it was a racist move once my sister move supposedly because of an appointment nobody else came to where she was she had already had her feet in the water and that was the unprofessional part. You shouldāve worked it out, not having her move and I just didnāt like the service especially for the price. I do want to add that Jenny, who did my feet is the blessing in the shop and did a beautiful job she did And she also kept watching me and my sister because she knew that it was wrong as well. teachers in Augusta are in Evans. Please do not...
