Customer Service was HORRIBLE! Food was great and that sucks because had they handle the situation better I would have definitely been back. The food is the only reason they even received 1 star from me. A simple apology would have sufficed for my experience. My experience was the worst customer service I have received in a long time. And so I did a review from their receipt and just said I was unsatisfied and they need to help their customers more, and they asked for more details in an email. Please read the correspondence below: Me: (after they asked for more details of my visit) I believe her name was Ms Lisa, I believe, not sure. However, my co worker ordered me food. I wanted a gyro, she ordered me the gyro platter. I was working so did not know this until it was delivered. I explained all of this. The lady told me there wasn't anything she could do for me. Didn't even try to help. Said all she could do is give me a percentage off of what I wanted ordered. I told her to just ring me up for a euro, after I have spent $33.36 food and delivery that I am not going to eat. This lady took 10%off, $0.63, to be exact. And that was like a smack in the face. I would have been satisfied had she just put a little effort into helping me but she didn't. The meat in the platter could have been used to make a gyro and that would have been fine. I felt like she could care less. Horrible customer service.

Their reply: It’s my understanding that the order was placed through Augusta to-go, and your friend ordered the wrong thing... we made the order as requested. At this point there is nothing we can do about it. We have fulfilled our end.

We are not able to take food that has left the premises and use it to remake something else. That is against health code regulations.

We are a locally owned, small business and we try to do the right thing and be fair, but this is not a situation where we did anything wrong. We have descriptions of all of our items on our menu, and your friend ordered the wrong thing. I hope you can see this from our point of view. Thanks

My reply:What was the point of you responding? Again, never said that you guys were at fault, however, again it could have been handled better, if you don't understand where I am coming from that explains the service I actually received,  and will make this VERY...

I will say I have had decent experiences at laziza before. The problem was in corporate and not a full representation of the employees, but still partly the employees fault. They were really nice and understanding of my situation tho. But today was a disappointment beyond my comprehension. Their portion size of the chicken shawarma patter was smaller than anything I have been served anywhere for a dinner. It was an insult to the culture it represents. As an establishment that represent Mediterranean culture, they failed as a company in my eyes. You go into any real Mediterranean restaurant and you leave fulfilled. It's hard to screw up Mediterranean food tbh. But they did that to the highest degree. The demographic of people this food represents is a people of hospitality, that gives, they take pride in what they serve to others, they make sure you had enough to eat, to not leave hungry. To represent the culture, you have to actually put effort in representing the culture. For the 18 dollars I spent for my plate, I expect a decent amount. Enough to fill my stomach up and maybe a little to bring home. It wasn't a lunch portion, it was a dinner portion. False advertising to be honest. No Mediterranean restaurant I have ever been to served so little for a plate of food for that price. It was scraps tbh. Not enough to even feed a small child, but maybe enough to feed a small puppy. I spent over 100 dollars. The falafel was bland and under seasoned. The shawarma was not any shawarma I have ever had and that was not any sort of compliment, the exact opposite to be precise. I had a big family order of food to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. We asked multiple times if everything we ordered was in the to-go bag and they assured us everything was in order. But as it would turn out we were missing a part of our order. A company who's ego is too big for...

So I wanted Greek today and that's what I put In Google. It took me to Laziza Mediterranean. I walk in and notice seating at the bar so alone I took a seat at the bar. The employee behind the bar counter ask what I would like to drink I told her and was handed a to go cup to help myself at the beverage area. I got up walked over to the beverage area then came back to my seat at the bar. The employee then picked up a table matt type menu and told me she would take my order when ready. She was also running the cash register and cking out customers. I placed my order for the Gyro and side order of stuffed grape leaves. The service was fast. I aske for extra tzitky sauce and was handed one from the cooler by the cash register. The sauce was very runny as water! I asked for another and was brought one from the kitchen. The consistency of the same sauce was night anf day. I ate half my gyro after disposing of half the bread. Asked for a to go box and was once again directed to the beverage center to obtain the box. After getting up and retrieving the to go box. I assumed I would have to get up and go to the register to pay so I did. The employ asked if I enjoyed it" I said "NO Comment". I paid left no tip, if Laziza Restaurant intentions is a cold to go place they have accomplished this, right down to the NO Smiles from any of their employees! This Mediterranean Grill Laziza gets one star because of all the above. I still wanted a real GREEK experience so went 3 min down the road from them to the Shiskkabob place advertises Greek and Turkish food for a completely different food and atmosphere place that I have given 5 stars too. If you want fast and tasteless with no smiles go to Laziza Mediterranean Grill! My first and last visit. Owner needs to be more concerned with customers than their...

TL;DR: Tasty Mediterranean spot that is a good change of pace from the usual chain restaurants. Outside/Pre Visit: The restaurant is located in a large shopping center with a shared parking lot so there is plenty of parking. However, you do have to walk across the parking lot near the access to the lot from Towne Center Drive so it can be very busy and take a minute to walk across. Otherwise, it is easy to access via the light on Washington & Towne Center. Inside/decor: The decor is very appropriate for the theme of the restaurant with lots of Mediterranean feeling tables and plants on the inside. There is outdoor seating and a nice indoor sunroom type space also available. The booths were benches and were a bit uncomfortable after a while. The line for where you order was also quite short and got backed up pretty quickly with larger groups. Food: I ordered the chicken Shawarma plate and others in my party ordered the shwarama wrap and the Feta Fries. The plate came with rice, hummus and a pita. Wraps came with one side and the Fries were an appetizer. The plate was quite sizeable and filling. Came with plenty of rice that was seasoned well. It did have cilantro for those who don't like that. The hummus was very good, and the chicken was tender. I thought the garlic sauce was a little too heavy on the garlic, but others in my party loved it. The fries were very filling and came with plenty of chicken and feta on top. Food came out very quickly and we weren't waiting for very long. Coke machine was not the one with the large varieties of flavors. Staff: The cashier was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She was able to answer all our questions since we don't have this type of food often. Didn't really have any interaction with other staff. There is staff to bring food to the table and to bus tables.

Not the best, (more of that amazing sauce please!) but very affordable, medium portion sizes Went to Laziza with my husband. It’s the stand-in-line-to-order and seat-yourself kinda thing. Same style as Farmhaus Burger if you’ve ever been there. The menu can be confusing but the cashier was helpful in explaining what comes with each dish. I ordered the « Lebanese Arrayes Platter » with Red Pepper hummus and my husband got the « chicken Shawarma ». My Pita bread was definitely charred/burned around the edges but the beef was seasoned really nicely. Wish they gave more sauce and hummus as the pita was quite dry. Their garlic sauce is superb but comes in a tiny plastic container. I was not a fan of their Falafel: greasy, mushy, and sort of grainy, with no flavor The chicken in the Shawarma was tender and well-seasoned. It just seemed lacking in sauce and nothing that we ordered came with cheese which would have added a nice flavor. Not the best Mediterranean food that I’ve had (again, needs more sauce!) but pretty good for the US and nicely priced. Our total was about $27 for both of us. Their ambiance is so-so, it looks like a remodeled Wendy’s inside…cuz I think it is. On the plus side, you leave your dirty dishes at the table and you don’t have to clean up after yourself! Would order again as they have many different options I would like to try. Would get the Jalapeño hummus and the Greek Fries and I really want to try their grape leaves. I recommend ordering online and take home than to dine-in.

It’s been really long time since I ate here. I think the last time was around Covid time but chicken shawarma was my favorite. I’ve been craving for it so we decided to order for my bday dinner. I remember chicken shawarma was seasoned with spices and not sauces. But yesterday when we ordered Family Feast for takeout, chicken shawarma was soaked in sauces. It had strong taste of tomato like sauce. My husband ate beef, daughter ate salmon, I ate chicken shawarma and little bit of chicken kebabs, and son ate chicken kebabs only. Few hours later he got sick which I believe to be food poisoning. Started with headache and stomachache and later ended up throwing up 4 times last night. I also had mild symptom but not much since I only took few bites of chicken kebabs. Husband and daughter are okay so I believe it was the chicken kebabs. I gave 2 stars cause the salad was fresh and hummus was really good. Rice was missing from our order. Very disappointed. And we had lot of leftover since it was only for 2 adults and 2 kids but ended up throwing it all away just in case. Evans location needs to be more careful with handling the foods and cooking it well
