Front end bagger/ lot associate Jacob refused to go get missing items from my order. Had to go get missing items from my Instacart myself and pay for them all over again. Instacart gave me a refund for my missing items so I wasn't double charged and was almost last for work because of him. Jacob said he brought the things out and he wasn't going to get my missing items. He flat out refused to do his job and when I complained they only spoke to him. I had a witness that was another associate and only got spoken to. He is mentally handicapped so didn't want to go to hard on him for that. Publix is one of my favorite grocery stores. Publix has many unique foods and beverages. Love the cut fruit and their made in store salads. We have never seen this store unkempt or dirty, a big hand to all the staff as it takes a great team to keep the place looking good. The staff at the registers, the baggers and the staff throughout the store have always been very friendly and polite. I think asking me about the quality and my experience of a cluster of stores completely unrelated to one another with a large business, in this case, Public's, right smack dab in the middle is a bit odd. However, I've used the local tanning salon called Palm Beach tan quite a few times and their beds are the best. They have the best bulbs, they're always clean, and their staff is friendly.
