I just had the worst experience with order #929632161. I ordered two extra large pizzas. One of them had cheese and one of them had no cheese as I am allergic. When the order arrived both pizzas had cheese on them.
My husband called the store and this is what he was told, “I call the shop and I get no apology. “Are you sure it said it on the order?” I explain that the label says no cheese. I am told “we’ll you probably know we have a few options then.” I explain that yes, I am very aware. Last time we ordered we received a “free pizza credit on your account” because it was incorrect then also. We’d never been able to cash it in, so this time I’d just like what we ordered to be delivered. “Can I put you on hold to see if I even see if I CAN do that”. When she comes back she asks me “Do you, um, even know how far you are from here?” I am 15-20 blocks at most and explain this. And get put on hold again. When she comes back I offer the option of giving us a refund if it’s too big of a hassle. “Yeah, let’s do that because I’d have to send my driver out and we wouldn’t pay him for the trip. It sucks that the pizza guy screwed up the order huh?”
I explain that I spent years delivering pizza and have always tipped any driver when they have had to come back a second time. Yes a second tip.
She gives me a refund, no idea how much because she basically hung up after that. “

At 540,pm at 6:45 it had not been delivered, I attempted to call at 6:45pm and was on hold for1hour & 20 min then was disconnected! We are still showing our order ready for pick up! Yet order was Delivery! Was concerned yet saw receipt and was charged for delivery so pickup meant delivery’. My husband and I are Seniors 73 & 80! My husband was concerned to go there however they took the money out of our bank account and knowing how they treated our order they sure wouldn’t take care of a refund! So at 9:20 P..M my husband has gone to the most horrible Papa John’s Pizza! Will never order from them again and urge others to do likely! If my husband falls or is injured having to go to out at this time of night there will be hell to pay! Oh yes! They have a place for help for live chat and could not get any answer to why I was there! I was carefully with my words. We order our meal over an hour ago and have not received our order! Read moreWe ordered pizza on Tuesday Sept. 17, and got a notification that our order had just left the building and was delayed due to an evaluation because someone sprayed mace next door. So people evaluated but the pizza products stayed exposed to whatever was in the air from the mace and they still sent out our pizza. Me and my pregnant wife ended up getting really sick after eating the pizza and the cherry on top, nobody would of said anything EXCEPT we ended up calling to communicate and find out why we got a notification our pizza was delayed. This is completely unacceptable. I'm glad that not more harm was done to my wife and child. And that WE communicated with papa johns. But it was completely unprofessional to 1. Not communicate these health problems until WE reached out otherwise we wouldn't of known why were so sick and what my wife was exposed to, and 2. To send out food products after they're exposed to exactly what you didn't want your employees exposed to? Completely unacceptable.
