King Buffet — Restaurant in Everett

‼️ WARNING ‼️ I regret not reading the reviews before checking this place out.

I do not recommend this place nor will I ever go back here.

We visited on a Saturday in July 2023 @ $22 per adult Opened at 11:00am, we were the first customer to come in. There was No line waiting to get in, unlike any other buffets I've been. Other buffets usually have a long line waiting for the restaurant to open, but this one. We were here for 2hours and there were only 2 other parties that came in by 1:00pm.

And there is a reason for that, it makes sense this place is empty.

★☆☆☆☆ Food ★☆☆☆☆ Service ★☆☆☆☆ Atmosphere

Food: not much option, most that I tried were stale, and they just opened, so i expected them to be fresh. It's like eating day old food. Ice cream area only had 1 scoop for all 4 tubs lol. I thought that was a little bit gross, and weird. No toppings. The water where the ice cream scoop was in was dirty. You expect a clear water because they just opened, but it was cloudy. I definitely didn't bother using it.

Service: you pay first then the rest is self serve including seating yourself and getting drinks. Service was pretty much just having our empty plates grabbed from our table.

Atmosphere: floor was clear, but sticky.. the restaurant vibe was similar to any buffets. High chairs were sticky, so we had to clean it ourselves. 3 of our tables were sticky too. The entire place is chilly, so people would tend to eat less. Sodas are bottomless, so you'll be full right away drinking carbonated drinks.

Not that there's anything wrong with this place, or the staff, but i definitely wouldn't come back here nor would I recommend it to anyone.

I've been to King Buffet hundreds of times over the past 19 or so years. I really like it there. I'm not very picky when it comes to food.

When you come in, just pay and then it's all about self-service, including your coffee and water and that works just fine for me. I believe they have a different menu for lunch and dinner and a different price accordingly. If I'm not mistaken, weekends have an all day dinner menu, ultimately including seafood.

There is a decent selection of Chinese food, seafood which I absolutely love (i.e. crawfish, snow crab, shrimp cooked a few different ways including the best fried shrimp, in my opinion), a few fish options, some sushi options, 3 or 4 different soups (including egg drop, wanton, sour and spicy), seasonal fruit, some baked goods, ice cream, etc. Basically, it'll be enough to feed you. Oh and there is a newly installed Hibachi grill from a few years ago. There is typically nobody behind it, so get the attention of one of the employees and don't feel bad about it to get their attention and they'll send a cook.

If you expect a waitress to be at your disposal at any given second, then this restaurant is probably not for you. But if you want a decently priced buffet-style meal where you can choose what you want to eat and how much, then I suggest you check it out.

we went there on a Sunday night at 7 they were not very busy there was a very small variety of food all of it which looks like it's been sitting there a while. I had myself a small plate everything I eat was cold and old and disgusting tasting same thing with my girlfriend's food she had raw mushrooms hard. Went to go grab us a drink and all the drink cups were slimy with soap coming out of them finally found some dry clean cups but when I went to the machine there were gnats flying all around the soda machines I got a Mountain Dew my Mountain Dew was watered down and tasted like it had been mixed with every other soda ice was really nasty tasting. It was very very very bad experience bad food the place was dirty food and garbage all over the floor. Between four of us we maybe ate 2 plates it was disgusting we left went to the car and I decide to come back that I wanted to make a complaint and ask for a refund and the girl that was working called me a liar and said that I didn't get cold food that she's had no complaints of cold food . when we got there there was maybe ten people in the whole restaurant there was another group of three guys that came in after us and they went and sat down and looked around and then just got up and walked out because it was so dirty was just disgusting looking food I regret us ever...
