SEPHORA — Local services in Evesham Township

It's interesting to me that this store doesn't have better reviews. I have been in here a few times now and have had above average experiences. I've found the staff to be extremely helpful, and knowledgeable of the products. They also have loads of product in stock, which is nice. I'm super grateful that this location finally opened. It is closer to where I live, and in my opinion the beautiful new space and the staff are much preferable to that of the Cherry Hill store. A couple of times I went here I was actually pretty worked up from bad experiences at the Cherry Hill location of Sephora, and both times the staff at the Marlton location put me in a good mood and were able to help with what I needed. I went in for the sale today, had a few things on my list to pick up including a new blush. I’ve been eyeing the Nars OrgasmX blush however the tester shade looked way more vibrant than it did online, as I’m sure the color altered from hundreds of peoples fingers touching it. I peeked into one of the boxes to see the actual shade before deciding to splurge on an expensive blush. An employee rushed over to me and asked if she could help me with something. As I explained, she snatched the product out of my hand and put it back on the shelf and walked away, saying “don’t do that!” as if she were accusing me of trying to steal. Definitely not the place to go if u are a person of color. I was definitely followed in-store after I said I didn’t need help. I gave it one additional star because the cashier was nice and the store was clean. On another occasion No One greeted me at the entrance, as three associates stood in the front of the store giggling and talking. This seems to be what generally happens in the front of this store though. I only come here when other stores are out of stock on items. I’m not sure many people shop here.
