It was a gorgeous day and wanted to sit outside and enjoy the day. Shortly after being seated a waiter came over to take our drink orders while we looked over the menus. I had spotted a house Pinot that was advertised on a separate cheat, so I figured I’d give it a try. As I ordered a glass of the wine the waiter asked to see the paper and took off with it.( I didn’t think anything else about it at the time.) We waited for over twenty minutes, which we weren’t in a big hurry, but another waitress did take notice and asked if we had even been waited on yet. I said yes but asked for a new knife beings the one I just unraveled was crusted with dried up food. Well, that waitress never returned either but as the waiter finally came out with the drinks and water, he accidentally spilled the wine and broke glass all over me. He immediately blurted out I’m so sorry. Are you ok…. Just so you know your whole meal will be comped. It was an accident… it happens, but I thanked him for comping our meal. Then the manager came out almost immediately afterward and thanked us for not being one of those nasty people that makes a scene. I explained that it was just an accident…. It happens, and again thanked her for comping the meal as they both helped us switch tables and dry off a bit. I had a salad and my husband had an appetizer and we both had a couple of cocktails. The waiter then came out with our bill and said to us,”Well ya got a little discount” and quickly walked away. We looked at the bill and got a whopping $10 off of the total. Not only that, but none of the prices were even the prices that were advertised in the menu that was handed to us. They had jacked the prices up at least two dollars on everything we ordered and made it look like they gave us a discount. At that point I had had enough!!!! I went to speak to the manager outside at our table. I told her about what we were told vs. what we were presented with the bill. She then said wait here, I’ll take care of it. When the bill returned once again, we had gotten a whopping $30 off. Still not even one meal was covered. I had no words at that point and I will NEVER go back there again!! I don’t know if they have new owners but even the ground was full of litter… straw papers, forks, papers, etc. along the walls. They didn’t even deserve the one star that I HAD to give to write this review ! I Guess it Must Pay to Be...

2 weeks ago, my friend and I went to dinner at this Brio location. Our food was decent and the night was going smooth UNTILL I witnessed a small moving creature on the ground of the neighboring table. I stood up to get a closer look and what do you know? It was a little mouse. While I was a bit freaked out, I did recognize that we were sitting in the extended patio area (connected to the restaurant yet partially outdoors). I tried to take a deep breath and sit back down. However, given that I was now hyperaware of our surroundings, I noticed another FOUR mice running around in this little area by our table. They were creeping in and out.
I was exceptionally skeeved given that I was wearing open-toed shoes and a short skirt ready for a summer dinner at this supposedly “quality establishment”. I stood up and started tapping my feet back and forth in hopes to ward off the nearby mice. While doing my “mice dance” I locked eyes with our waiter and motioned him to walk over. When explaining the situation, he did not seem the least bit surprised, leaving me doubtful that this was an isolated event!
Unfortunately, proactive measures were not implemented and a discount on our meals had not been received. As we exited the restaurant, we went through the main dining area and spotted TWO MICE INSIDE. We quickly exited.
The next day, I felt compelled to call the manager and explain the situation. Rather than appreciating this insight, he took on an accusatory tone and BLAMED US for not reporting it to him the night before. He then began to do a mini interrogation of the exact sites where the mice had been seen. As I continued to explain the locations, he began to question my integrity and implied that I had been pulling this from my imagination, simply adding an extra dose of aggravation to his lovely day. After a few minutes back and forth, he eventually agreed to comp our dinners for that night which we were grateful for. When he reached out to my friend to comp her meal, he had a kind and appreciative tone. This was later in the day... I guess he saw the mice himself and realized that we were not conspiring against the Brio establishment for a free loaf of bread.
We will NEVER BE...

The food was great and what you’d expect from Brio, however, it took 40 minutes for our food to hit the table. The hostess offered no crayons and entertaining our 2 year old while appetizers were served was difficult because she didn’t understand why she had no food and we did, so much so that I got up to ask the hostess for crayons. Our server Brian B, did not tell us his name (I got it off the check), and it took him 8 minutes to greet our table… he “was new” which I knew was a lie as I watched him make sure all his side work was done while I pre-bussed my own table onto the half wall next to me, while my son sat with a plate from his appetizer (that I asked to have a box for) for the duration of our meal- I watched him uncomfortably try and eat without relaxing his arm because the plate was in the way. I had to get up a second time and interrupt Brian from his side work to ask again for the box for my son. No one asked him if he’d like grated cheese on his pasta dish. The manager... any Saturday night I’ve ever worked for or been a guest at Brio, the front of house manager walks around and greets the guests to ensure quality service… but this manager wasn’t even seen for more than two minutes- I caught her walking out of the back before she disappeared again. Our menus were never taken from the table, I returned them to the hostess stand myself after our meal was over. Needless to say I was so irritated by the service I had no desire to stay for their desserts (which I love). I couldn’t wait to get out of there. WORST SERVICE EVER! This was my first and last visit to the Marlton Brio. They should be embarrassed. My fiancé, myself, and our two children would have gotten better service from an...
