I’m so disappointed! I recently discovered Frutta Bowls and thought I had found my go-to spot for my daily protein shake. As a die-hard Nutella lover, the Chocolate Explosion seemed like the perfect choice for me. Nutella and getting my daily protein. Perfect!
My first visit was amazing—I ordered a small size, and I had plenty of Nutella and protein at the same time. The shake was slush/frozen to perfection and absolutely delicious! I even ordered some protein bites to go with it. Based on that great experience, I decided to return the next day and ordered a regular/larger size of the same thing. Again, It had the perfect amount of Nutella throughout the cup and was just as slush/frozen and delicious as before.
When I find something I love, I tend to purchase it daily, and that’s exactly what I planned to do. I don’t care about cost if the quality is great. However, my next two orders were disappointing! The quality had declined drastically. Instead of generously adding Nutella, the staff barely put a small squirt around the rim of my cup. On top of that, the shake itself was so watery and lacked flavor.
The first time this happened, I chalked it up that the store may have been having an off day and gave it another chance the next day, but it was the same exact issue.
A word of advice: when you notice a customer consistently ordering the same item, it’s important to maintain the same quality that brought them back in the first place.

Read moreI read through some comments to see if there was a trend with the greetings and wait time and there is! I’ve worked in customer service so I know what is expected. Upon walking in, there was absolutely no greeting at all. I walked around to the front between the register and where they serve you. No acknowledgment, “let us know when you’re ready, how can I help you” or anything. Another group came in and stood back, then another group came in, walked to the front and were greeted. At the time I asked are you taking orders because nobody said anything as I stood there but jumped right to the group that clearly came in after me. Once this was acknowledged, and everyone realized how long I’d been waiting in the front of everyone, the reply was, can I finish with the other customer’s transaction. At this point I had to exit because great customer service is the utmost importance thing a business can offer. Even if people are upset with a product or a policy they should never have bad customer service. My confirmation was entering into multiple other businesses and being greeted from the door, on the way in, on the way out, and multiple people assisting! Read moreI walked in on my way to work, and when I arrived I was given dirty looks and looked at by all three employees, who then proceeded to just walk into the back and talk. I stood there for a good 4-5 minutes just waiting for someone to recognize me. Normally when someone walks in you greet them and if you’re busy you can say I’ll be with you in the minute. When a rude employee came out to finally take my order, she seemed very annoyed. The others came out and followed the same nasty vibe. I was unhappily asked “what do you want” and the whole process seemed to be a burden to these poor girls who have to make fruit bowls as their job. The whole time they made the bowl it was like pulling teeth. They took their time and had their own side convos, giving dirty looks to all customers who walked in. Even a new customer who has never had a frutta bowl, the employees treated her with disrespect and rudeness. It shouldn’t have taken ten minutes to make one bowl, when I was the only customer in there when I arrived. This occurred around 10:45 on Wednesday 5/15.
