May 25th ordered a fairly expensive bottle of rum ($450) for a Father's Day present for my 83yr old stepfather as a surprise. Received an email receipt of order.
June 1st called as to the status. After four phone calls and two different people, I was told the delivery to them (so they didn't have it and had to purchase it from somewhere??) didn't make it and they'd get it next week.
I asked if it would be here for Father's Day and was completely assured that it would be (note today's date...). "No problem!"
On June 11th I received an email saying the order was processed (so it took them over 2 weeks just to process it).
And knowing it needed to be in Portland Oregon by June 16th, they sent it FedEx ground.... These people are completely inept if they're to think that it's going to get across the country in 5 days with FedEx.
It took 2 days to sit around in New Jersey before it finally got out of the state.

There is no way that this is going to make it to my house, which I have to be home for as a signature is required, today. FedEx doesn't deliver on Sunday's (good for them and this is in no slight to the FedEx people) so the special event tomorrow will be ruined as we'll have people leaving Sunday evening and won't be visiting again for some time.
Customer service is clearly non-existent in this company and appears just to be a store front that only locals would visit. I'd expected that three freaking weeks would be enough time to get something from the east coast to the west. Obviously with these morons, it wasn't. Thanks...
Read moreBeen a wine, liquor, and beer.... so alcohol in general... connoisseur for years now. Have visited many liquor stores in my time. I can say, however, that Traino's has a great selection and a clean look. It isn't this establishments appeal and aesthetics that make it upstanding... if you walk through the door and keep right, you will eventually find a wine tasting/customer service pagoda of sorts. Amongst the variety of wines you will find Nina. Nina is well versed in the wine and liquor department (didn't ask about beer) and ensures stock of proper wines and spirits make their way to your homes. She knows where every bottle is and what the contents incorporate to please the finest of winey's and spirited people alike. Just tell her what your taste buds are lacking and she will recommend a blend that will, both, satisfy and thrill you at the same time. Kudos to the purveyor of great taste that is; Nina....
Read moreOrder a bottle of rum on Sat. and was assured it would be in by Monday. I told them great because I didn't need it until Thurs. when I called Tuesday to see if it was in, the gentleman told me no but it would probably be in later that day. Again I received no phone call so Wednesday late afternoon I called and they said it has been back ordered and they don't know when it will be in. I asked the gentleman when were they going to call and tell me that. He responded by saying well we can try it one more time today and hopes that it'll be here by tomorrow afternoon when I clearly told him I needed it by tomorrow morning. I told him I would never be shopping there again. I suggest you...
