The staff is very friendly, professional, knowledgable, and accommodating. The space is clean and organized. This is the first Med Spa I've been to and I'm grateful. Getting into cosmetic procedures is daunting but they have made me quite comfortable.

My first injection appt, they made sure I was totally informed regarding what to expect/the cost and assured me it was no big deal if I changed my mind about continuing with the procedure.

I get Xeomin in my armpits for excessive sweating and it has worked like a charm, greatly increasing my confidence.

They have let me keep an appointment I was running late to and I have overheard them extending the same courtesy to other customers.

One time I went in for Xeomin while sick and the injector warned me that may cause the Xeomin to wear off faster than the 6-9 months it's supposed to last. She asked if I wanted to reschedule and I decided to keep my appt and see what happens.

The next time I went in for injections, I reported it didn't last as long and she gave me a major discount on my treatment. I was not expecting this, and I greatly appreciated this, as I considered it to be my fault for not rescheduling my prior appt.

She assured me if I continue to have issues with the Xeomin wearing off faster than quoted, that she would switch me to Botox at a discounted rate. Which again, I greatly appreciated because I opted for Xeomin in the first place due to it being it cheaper than Botox.

Also, Botox and Xeomin have programs where appts = points towards discounts. When you check out, the staff will immediately log your appts in these programs and apply available discounts without you having to...

I always have an exceptional experience at Borealis Med Spa, especially with Ms. Kim. She is extremely patient and willing to answer all my questions about any treatments I’m interested in and super helpful in pointing me in the right direction to start taking care of my almost 40 skin/ wrinkle concerns. Her bedside manner is always fantastic, she asks about my family and work and always remembers important things we’ve chatted about while I get my injections. It shows she truly cares about her patients and keeps me coming back. She knows exactly what I want and is the only person I’ve found in Fairbanks that I’m always happy with my results. I’ve been to 3-4 places before I found her and was constantly disappointed. Plus she is willing to suggest trying something different when/if needed. I came to Dr. Shriner last year to discuss some under eye fillers after I had a lower blepharoplasty done in the states. I have genetic dark circles and I was pretty disappointed in my experience and overall results from the surgery. I felt very misled and not informed properly by my previous surgeon and expressed my feelings to Dr. Shriner and how unhappy I was. She was incredibly empathetic of my situation and took the time to inform me about under eye fillers. After some time I decided to take the plunge and give the fillers a try. I felt like my feelings and concerns were validated and taken seriously, and she listened to everything I had to say and answered any questions I had.
