Bamboo Panda — Restaurant in Fairbanks

I ordered from here about 3 to 4 weeks ago again, as I normally did once every 2 weeks, and my food was disgusting ... RAW CHICKEN... I opened up my sesame chicken meal, noticed a long thin tendon as I picked up the chicken to put it on my plate... I shrugged it off, sometimes they use scrap meat...

Well I tried to continue on, when I picked up the meat to eat I noticed the texture was different. I cut it to see, RAW! I was so grossed out. I called to tell them and they did not seem to concerned. I drove back to get another order... They didn't applogize or act shocked that they gave me raw chicken! I took the replacement food and went home. The new batch was cooked, but the meat looked like scrap meat and I was so grossed out from the raw chicken I threw it all away.

I have not gone back since. I was a regular, but noticed it started slipping, I shrugged it off... But raw chicken could kill someone it make them severely sick. I also couldn't believe how they didn't really seem to care. Makes me question how clean they are and their sanitary practices.

I now order from hot pot from across the street.

This place is pretty consistent with their food not 100% but pretty close. The vegetables are always fresh, the food's always fresh. I love their fried rice and sesame chicken. Also, their large shrimp mixed vegetables is really good. I used to not like their soups but my last order I tried their hot and sour again and it was really good somehow they changed it. I also like your vegetable lo mein

If you call in for pick up there literally ready 5 minutes later, deliveries the standard 45 minutes. My takeout order is correct 9.5 times out of 10!

My favorite Chinese food in Fairbanks. I tried other places and was always disappointed. Like: mushy rice, over cooked food, too greasy or not fresh.

The food is very good & the delivery always comes fast and hot! The harsh winters in Fairbanks make wanting to leave home to grab food a huge pain so most people become well versed in who delivers 🙂 Bamboo Panda is the best Chinese food option hands down! The staff is friendly & makes ordering a breeze even during their busy times. I usually call so I cannot comment on the online ordering feature.

I've had one mistake with my order over a 2 year period and they sent someone back out immediately but they had to charge another delivery fee because they use a delivery service.... which I wasn't too happy about because the error with my food was their fault (they didn't include one order of shrimp fried rice & didn't send any of the 3 soups ordered). They apologized for the inconvenience & I just let it go because my hungry hubby just wanted his food 😅... but we were pleasantly surprised when the order came 😁 they included 2 orders of shrimp fried rice, 3 soups, a full order of general tso chicken with rice, and a full order of sesame chicken and fried rice... with a sweet little note apologizing 😍 They had basically given us extra orders of what we initially ordered to make up for the 3 buck delivery charge! That was excellent customer care!! They have earned our business as long as we live in Fairbanks.... unless they build a Panda Express 😉😂😂 then we might have to share the loyalty!! Anywho, give them a shot you will not be...

If I could only give 0 stars ! Well I am Caribbean and I do have an accent but nothing that anyone couldn’t understand. I called the restaurant for a second time after a rude lady hang up on me! I am new in the area so I was giving my address and I said doctor and is drive I corrected myself right away, the asian woman on the phone began mocking me over and over and and laughing in a rude way. While I was trying to provide my # you could heard her on the back … she understood every single word i said but she was still making me repeat over and over same thing so she could laugh about .

UPDATE: food wasn’t the best it was prob a 2 or 3 stars Also they need to stop selling food that will make people sick 😷 for example selling it expired or things that has been cooked for the past days ! I am not sure if that is the case but seems like is something like that
