The lady at the counter was rude as hell for no reason. I went to pay with my card, and she just without even explained that they don't accept cards went to ask the other store associate to return the item back. I was so confused bc my fiancé had cash so I called him over to pay for my item and the lady just started yelling at me to get out of the store bc I couldn't bring a drink inside the store. My cup was empty, btw, and she could have mentioned that before when I walked over to her, there was no reason for her to yell at me to get out like that. I also immediately went outside to throw away my cup. It felt like she was taking all her anger issues towards me for no reason. I am sorry bc I want to support small businesses, but if you work in the guest service industry, you should understand not to take your personal matters with your customers. We have bought treasured items for birthdays and holidays (from mugs to matches to pocket knives to blankets) for friends and loved ones near and far. We shop the incredible selection of cards every month, always finding the perfect card for any occasion. I have been complimented on my clog collection for 1,000 miles—all shoes from Cabaline. But my favorite feature is their excellent toy section. The toys are unique, creative, and always beloved. I'm in my fifties, and have stuffed animals on my bed. My granddaughter loves the dragons, dinosaurs, and the puppets.

I have had one very great experience where an employee went above & beyond to support me in finding shoes that would work for what I needed them to. She pulled out several styles for me to try & seemed pleased to do so. Unfortunately, my last experience there has made me reconsider shopping there ever again. The owner is incredibly rude & stand-offish, there was no employees available to help me, & when I wanted to try some different items, I was talked over, shut down, & basically felt that if I was going to find any items, that I would have to do all the work myself without any assistance.
