All I can say is WOW! As a bakery and bread/pastry connoisseur, I'm not easily impressed. This place was incredible. I had read someplace that people in the know come HERE for pastries and espresso, even though the other bakery in town has a massive line and seems more popular. Where to start? Best scone I've ever had in my life. And I don't even like scones! Plain croissant, the item that every bakery should be judged by, was outstanding - one of the best I've had. Their bread? Also fantastic. Espresso? Hand crafted, and there will be a wait, but well worth it. Homemade soda? So good. Shortbreads, biscottis - you cannot go wrong here; you just can't. We didn't want to leave Point Reyes Station because it meant leaving this bakery. And we've been trying to scheme ways to get back ever since. If ypu appreciate high quality pastries, breads and drinks, then go here. You won't be disappointed. Oh, service was...

This is a MUST when in Point Reyes!!!! One of the best bakeries l've been too! It can get crowded, but the line moves fast. Everything is on point, from the coffee to the pastries to the bread, I can't say enough good things.

Service so friendly and welcoming, and they have daily specials of breads and scones etc. they have a nice hug garden out back to sit and enjoy your foods, but inside is just the counter where you order and you can see the kitchen as well which is cool.

You have to get the sesame cookies!!!!! Also the focaccia is incredible I'm so sad I only got one piece. The whipped cream in the coffee is so good as well. I've gone here multiple times and each time leaves me craving more!!!!!

If you go to Toby's fees barn, you'll also see some of this bakery items by the checkout...

You can park across the street. Although it’s busy on weekends, the line moves quickly. They sell a wide variety of pastries, bread, coffee and tea. You place your order at the counter, and the staff will pack it up for you. For drinks, you pick them up at the adjacent pickup window. The semi-open outdoor area is lovely and filled with flowers and plants, offering a couple cozy garden seats, perfect for sitting down and enjoying your treats-truly delightful.

We ordered a ham & cheese sandwich - bread was hard but very flavorful. Double chocolate brownie was sweet and rich, with a dense texture that paired well with drip coffee, balancing the sweetness. The sweet tart with apricot had a crispy and delicious crust. We love this...

Though this crusty crunchy baguette may not be for everyone, it floored me. The texture was heavenly and so was the best scone I've ever eaten, by a long shot. Go ahead, and buy you favorite scone and compare it to brickmaiden. Theirs is crunchy, light and moist and yet still a scone. Maybe they are redefining what a scone should be or maybe i just never knew. I've been to Paris and had the 2018 winner for best baguette and though the flavor is more mild, the texture is adventurous and lovely. And those were the only two things i tried. Will be back!!!
