Ok so you’re having breakfast/brunch at a West Marin restaurant. The menu looks pretty promising. $22 for two pancakes, two eggs, potatoes, and bacon.. it’s GOT to be good right? For that price? In West Marin? Nah. It’s average at best. And certainly doesn’t even claim to use organic ingredients. -I ordered something advertised to have “wild local mushrooms” in it, but it was clearly baby portobellos. -When I asked for a side of hollandaise sauce to handle the overcooked poached egg, it was served cold and smeared into a butter ramekin. Like it was as thick as butter and cold. I was pretty surprised. -This place seems like whoever owns it accidentally ended up managing a restaurant and doesn’t really want to. Bare minimum here. -Outdoor seating is a bit less grim, but is next to highway and on a significant asphalt slant, so there was no way for me to really sit comfortably. -If this place was just a cheap greasy spoon diner and didn’t price things so high or try to come off as fancy, it would be a far better situation. Something is up with this place- I swear it feels like a fake restaurant run by people who are working from home in the back room. And not in a small town authentically...

For a placed called roadhouse I was expecting maybe some BBQ option, especially with a longhorn as a logo, but they mainly have sandwiches and burgers for lunch. We decided to order just fries and calamari thinking it will take maybe 10 mins to fry them. It took over 40mins to get our food and the calamari was cold. So the seafood was sitting out while they made other foods that came out after us. It’s wasn’t full so I was very confused to why it was taking forever. I think they might fry the seafood and fries together since both tastes like the same old frier oil. So people with allergies beware in case. It was also confusing to see someone from the back (the ones cooking the food) constantly going to the bathroom. Usually I wouldn’t have thought much of it but waiting over 30mins for food, it was odd. If you want to spend over an hour for overpriced and mid food, this is your place. If you have kids i didn’t see a kid’s menu and cell service doesn’t exist while WiFi is...

We have been coming to Pt Reyes for a very long time and decided after trying all the other restaurants to give The Roadhouse a try:( So very disappointing. I ordered the Fish Sandwich $24.00, my friend the Salad special with fried shrimp romaine and some type of noodle. Well the sandwich was tasteless and on top of that so under cooked , yes I should have sent it back but after taking a bite out of it decided not to, you may be saying my fault and yes it certainly was. Fries were also under cooked and a bit flabby. The $24.50 salad was all romaine with a very small handful of noodles and 4 beautifully fried prawns, but as with my dish it was FLAVORLESS. Very basic food and for the price it should have been better. Well unfortunately for me I will never eat there again. We paid $70.00 plus tip for a handful of fries, 4 prawns, 2 beers and a half sandwich. Please understand, I do not mind paying the price but the food should...

My wife and I decided to order a breakfast for takeout during our stay at Inverness. The restaurant is quaint and clean and the individual that took our order was pleasant. We requested the Bolinas Pancakes and the Seaside Breakfast. The size of the three pancakes was impressive with a generous number of blueberries. A nice option would have been a blueberry compote, the pancakes were too dry otherwise. Instead of receiving Vanilla Vermont Maple Syrup that's printed on the menu, I was given two tiny packets of Smart and Final's brand (First Street) "Syrup". Corn syrup, water and sugar. If it's on the menu, it should be on my plate as well. Details matter. The seaside breakfast was just okay. The money spent did not match the food received. Will not be returning.

Very nice, quaint spot. Parking was open. Happen to see it on the way back to Santa Rosa from the Point Reyes Lighthouse. It was not busy at all and the service was very quick. Took about 10 minutes for the food. I got the BLT and it was fantastic! Nice portion of thick cut bacon cooked to perfection. My buddy had the chileaquiles. They had a great selection of wine and the mimosas (I got the mango mimosa) are top notch!! The beer tap was down so that was a bit disappointing because they could atleast purchase a case of bottled beer for those who want beer. But none-the-less great for brunch or lunch. 100% recommend if you are in the area.
