The reason I'm marking this a 2 star instead of a 1 is because YAS attempted to apologize and work with us to fix the issue (even though it wasn't fixed after two takes). He also matched price for us when we saw same ring at another store (Store credit not refund). The staff in the store were very friendly and not pressuring you to buy something, which drew us to the store over all the others in the mall.
With that being said, please look at the photos. The orig Love knot design was what caught our attention. It was smooth, which is what we were looking for so it wouldn't catch on clothing; and it had a low profile as to not get in the way of work (as I work with my hands). We asked if there was possibility to insert a sapphire in band (We have on other jewelry) and if we could add a sapphire heart to the top. Simple requests, and YAS himself said yes, no problem, it's easy work.
We were hoping to have the work done by NYE, we exclaimed we had a party and I would have liked to show it off to friends I don't normally see. He said he will see what he could do. No phone call to say yes or no... Anyways we got call on Jan1st for pick up.
The manager on staff showed us ring, before we addressed it, manager said he was told and the store knows that the orientation of heart was wrong way. He said YAS did the work himself and only he would know why certain things were done. I also pointed out the inner sapphire was over where the Diamond Cutters initials. None of orig design we spoke of and drew out with YAS, was completed.
I asked why we were not given a call before they put hear in the wrong way? He didn't know. We spoke with YAS in person later that week, YAS apologized saying his apprentice did the work and he doesn't know why no one called us. He said he could engrave the diamond initials back on band (integrity was already ruined and band already unsmooth). I told him there is no way to fix that. YAS said out of all the Winter orders, ours was the ONLY one that was messed up. I told him we would have waited longer given communication to avoid mistakes. He had no response.
We gave him 2nd chance to fix orientation of the ring and to make sure the second knot was smooth out so integrity of design is returned. On Jan 19th BF picked up ring. The heart orientation is correct, but it's flatted (think an iron for branding). There is now a sharp lip around the flat, imprinted heart. The metal marking of 14k is now gone, as well from the band (Yas said nothing would happen additional to band).
Overall my BF and I are pretty disappointed with the lack of communication, quality of work and repeat disappointments. I am now in a hard place of I don't really want to show the ring off, and my BF doesn't want me to feel like I have to wear it, if I don't like it. For my BF it was a weeks pay and I feel obligated now to wear it... Up-front, the company seems nice and YAS seems to want to work with his clients to keep them. I am not happy with the...

My now fiancé and I walked into Yas and Co as a spur of the moment decision a few months ago. We had already made an appointment for a jeweler in NYC for a few weeks later that I had my heart set on seeing, so we decided it couldn’t hurt to just walk in Yas’ store and browse. None of the jewelers we had browsed at had what I was looking for, so we already knew I would be wanting something custom made. I wanted something that truly no one else has. I also knew I wanted a moissanite center stone, to save us on the cost, without sacrificing the look and quality.
When we walked into the store, the associate (unfortunately I don’t know her name!) was just so kind and friendly, and it definitely did not feel like she was hovering over us, so after a minute or so I mentioned the type of ring I was interested in. She quickly brought me to several that were very close to what I wanted! Which was so rare in other stores. I found an oval ring I really liked with a halo, but then saw a band on a different ring I liked as well. The ring was also a bit small for the 2 carat moissanite I wanted in the center. Yas came out and told me he can make literally ANYTHING I wanted! So, we sat down right there and decided to truly custom design a ring. He just made me feel so comfortable, and was so kind and easy to work with.
After deciding on the specifics of everything and him pricing it out for us, we placed the order with Yas for the engagement ring and a wedding band. He told us a CAD design would be ready in a few days, and he would order the specific moissanite stone that I wanted for the center. We came back a few days later to see the moissanite and review the CAD design before proceeding with him making the rings. I am such a picky person, so I ended up changing my mind on the band style of the engagement ring, and going with something with a different look. We also changed the wedding band to be an eternity style. He did a new CAD design within a few more days (which was $200 extra, the one and only thing I have a complaint about, because we weren’t told about this upfront until my fiancé went to pickup the rings), and the new design was perfect. We gave him the “ok” to make the engagement ring and band, and they both turned out SO beautifully!! I could not be happier with them. I have gotten nonstop compliments on my engagement ring ever since my boyfriend proposed, and it’s exciting to be able to say it’s a custom designed ring and show it off. Yas is truly and artist. I highly recommend going to him for any and all of your future jewelry needs. He does his best to do whatever is asked of him!
Overall I highly recommend Yas, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you Yas...
Read moreDO NOT GO HERE! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES! My fiance and I visited this store to look for his wedding band. First, we talked to Kevin, who was absolutely wonderful to us, and quoted us $400 for this ring; it was originally $800 with a 50% off sign above it. We liked it but wanted to check other stores before making a commitment. Kevin told us that the sale ended the following week as a courtesy for our decision making. Three days later we returned to buy the ring. A woman employee told us Kevin wasn't working that day but that she could help us; she was very complimentary and nice. We pointed out the ring we wanted and were again quoted $400. The woman then got her manager to make the sale. Yasser, the manager, came out to make the sale. He stopped everything and told us his two employees both quoted us incorrectly and that the ring was going to cost full price if not more (he mentioned $1100!) and there was nothing he could do about it.
When we got flustered due to this blindside he continued to defend his pricing asking us "Do you follow the stock market?" "Did you know that the price of gold went up over the weekend?" and he could not afford to lose money on this sale. We felt very uncomfortable and turned to leave but he stopped us and said he could call his supplier and get back to us on Monday with a possible discounted price. He went on to say that he would sell us the ring in hand for $400 but it wouldn't fit and he could not resize a man's ring and he could not lose more money by having to buy another band in the correct size. Note that I had a picture of the ring and size from our encounter with Kevin. The ring is a size 10 and we were needing to order a size 10. Caught in another lie!
Yasser called back on Monday and said the best he could do was $550 but would throw in a lifetime warranty on the ring. Horrible customer service from the manager; we felt completely scammed. We ended up finding this exact ring on another website for $400. Those wonderful salespeople lost out on their commission due to their con artist...
