Haagen Dazs — Restaurant in Fairfax

I’m really disappointed with my recent visit to Häagen-Dazs. I was already in line, waiting to be helped, when a mom and her kids came rushing in, loud and chaotic — completely cutting in front of me. What’s worse is that the staff didn’t acknowledge me or try to manage the situation at all.

There were three other employees there, not busy, just standing around. No one stepped in to help or even offer a simple “We’ll be right with you.” Instead, they served the mom and kids like I wasn’t even there. I felt completely brushed aside and disrespected.

This wasn’t just about waiting — it was about basic courtesy and customer service. If I’m taking the time to support your store, I expect to be treated fairly, not ignored in favor of whoever’s the loudest. Really disappointing experience.

Not sure if they require an IQ test to work there, clearly not…stay clear of the place if Ashley is there. Her customer service skills are as good...

Came in at 8:55 on Friday evening. My son tried to order a milkshake but was told they weren’t making milkshakes because they had already cleaned the machine. I asked what time the store closed and was told 9:30. I asked the young woman at the register if it was normal practice to shut down the machines 35 minutes before closing and she said yes. She also told me management was aware of this practice. If this is true, this is terrible practice and will not give you repeat customers. I ordered one scoop of Rocky Road in a cup and it was soupy from melting before I left the store. I don’t recommend this...

I wanted to support businesses that are open as much as I can since they have been affected negatively due to covid. I was at the mall last Friday and decided to get a smoothie from HD when I saw there was no customer in the store. The young lady working there was very helpful. I didn't know there is a diary free smoothie, and she asked which do I prefer... Diary or non-dairy. The mango smoothie was delicious!! I am really glad that I got it. I am also glad that I can tip with my credit purchase since I didn't have any cash with me. Highly recommend the mango...
