Butter Pecan Bakeshop — Local services in Fairfield

I know they have a location in Pinole and these cookies are the best to bring to potlucks and parties but this was my first time going to this location. Located in downtown Fairfield, coming from the freeway I saw there there was a lot of construction so I parked kind of far and walked down all of the businesses under construction. I finally found the corner and was welcomed by the friendly staff. I came on a Friday upon opening and you can smell and tell how fresh the cookies were! The workers were so knowledgeable about all of the flavors!

We got 2 of their most popular- butter pecan, and banana toffee. The 3 I chose were cookies & cream, dark chocolate sea salt (closest to a chocolate chip cookie), and strawberries & cream.

I brought it to work and we had a taste testing with a group. There were 4 of us so I cut the cookies up into pieces. We started with the butter pecan, then banana toffee, cookies & cream, dark chocolate sea salt, and finally the strawberries & cream. As we ate them the smaller portions we took.

We all loved how they were crispy on the edges and still gooey on the inside. The butter pecan was def the most popular and all of the unique flavored ones. I think butter pecan, banana toffee, and the strawberries & cream were my favorite. The cookies and cream felt the most dense and the sea salt dark chocolate was pretty basic.

I can’t wait to come back...

I stopped in for the first time this morning 8/24/24. Upon entering, I noticed the environment was well lit, immaculate and smelled amazing 🤗 I was warmly greeted by two of the most wonderful young ladies, Brie and Ari❣️ They patiently took their time educating me on each cookie flavor, new arrivals (coming soon) and even shared their respective favorite choices 💖 They did NOT disappoint 😋💝❣️ Although slightly expensive at $3.75 per cookie, they are DEFINITELY worth every penny 👍🏾 I HIGHLY recommend Butter Pecan 10/10🙌🏾 Thank you ladies for superb customer service, excellent and delicious...

They are located on the corner of Texas and Jackson Streets in downtown Fairfield. Each cookie is $4, but they are pretty decent sized and you can tell the cookies are freshly made with good quality ingredients. The employees were all very nice and knowledgeable of their offerings. The cookies all tested great, each with slightly crunchy edges and soft/chewy in the middle. I don't come to downtown Fairfield much, but I would come back to try more tasty cookies the next time I am...
