Kitchen Saver — Local services in Fairfield

**LONG POST...I'm giving a 1 because the presentation of the products and the marketing were perfect. The sales person told me not to worry about the down payment. Later, I see that I had accepted a LOAN for the down payment. RED FLAG

I love a DIY project but didn't have the time nor energy to reface my cabinets on my second floor. I hold multiple degrees in science (BS and MS) but neither in architecture, engineering, or carpentry. Therfore, I elected to hire Kitchen Saver for the project.

I was told my cabinet doors would meet the edges of the cabinets (they would be bigger). There would be little, if any, spacing between doors. Now for the measurements and installation. (1) The doors and spacing look to be the SAME sizes as they were originally (I didn't measure, I TRUSTED Kitchen Saver). (2) The installer was late so I had to give him the key to my house to begin the job. Because of this, I had to purchase new locks for my doors. (3) The installer overflowed my toilet (causing the water to leak into my 1st floor apartment) and (4) clogged the 1st floor's kitchen sink. (5) I was told the installer would cut any wood OUTSIDE, if cutting was necessary at all. You'll see the tools in the apartment along with the dust on hard wood floors. I had to tell the installer to put the heavy tools on something so he didn't damage the flooring. He complied. The job is finished.

I decided to refinish my kitchen using Kitchen Saver. I have many cabinets and pantries so anxious and nervous about the project. I want to ensure it goes quickly and smoothly. On Friday, October 3, 2025 the Detail Tech, Seth Bartolome, arrived to measure all the cabinets. Seth was pleasant, courteous, and took the time to explain in detail every step of the contract pointing to each cabinet and how it would be impacted. Seth answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns clearly, calmly and always with a smile on his face. I had a horrible experience with Kitchen saver, not only they not trustworthy, they not reliable. I felt robbed, I was told by Wayne the representative that they are a competitive company, "Price match was guaranteed " therefore I trusted them I gave them my deposit, then I found out another company had offered better price to change my kitchen cabinets, so I called them to see if they can beat the price as I was told! after I spoke to Wayne and John who is the manager, they said they will call me back, since then I haven't heard from them.
