If I could rate Kids Empire of Fairfield lower than 1 star then I certainly would. I had my daughter's birthday party here this past weekend and it was absolutely embarrassing. I apologize to the parents who had to deal with this poor customer service. I truly enjoyed going to Kids Empire in Fairfield as a regular customer in the past but after this experience I would never dare enter this building ever again. I will try a different Kids Empire next time. Gian Carlo from Kids Empire called the police because an adult in our paid birthday party was not wearing socks. The adult stated that they were not playing on the kids equipment. They were seated at the table. I understand that you need to wear socks to play at kids empire but they called the police on an adult parent who was not playing on the equipment and just sitting there monitoring their child. This is absolutely embarrassing. I will be engaging corporate to ensure that they are aware that Fairfield PD is involved and the incident is logged. They called the Fairfield PD and embarrassed our guests. I beleive the proper thing to do would be to alert the party host as to what is happening before calling the police. I also think they could have handled the situation better instead of calling the police. Maybe ask that person to leave if it's such a big deal. Even Fairfield PD was confused and upset that they were called here because an adult was not wearing their socks. The Fairfield PD understood our frustration and told us to contact their corporate number. We will follow up with corporate accordingly for a resolution. This review is legitimate as you can see by my account I have been on Google for years. This is not a one time review. As a resident of parsippany, it's safe to say you have upset parents from all surrounding towns. Parsippany, montville, pine brook and even Fairfield residents don't want to deal with this type of customer service ever. We wouldnt dare come back after being treated like that. I hope you do better for future families. You have let my family down so much I never would have expected it. Especially during a kids birthday...
Read moreOne word to describe the staff: AWFUL. All the negative reviews are correct!
The place itself looks amazing but if it was just run but like ANYONE else it would be such an awesome place to take children but I’ve never encountered staff members like this.
First of all, I need to say they charged us two times. The first time they said it didn’t go through and they cancelled it. They charged us again and then when we checked the bank app it said they charged us twice and even the receipts they gave said they charged us twice! We asked for a refund for the first transaction and then the 4 kids we brought with us we’re getting impatient so we asked them if they could go in. The “manager” Lisa was on the phone the entire time and had AirPods in. When the staff member started getting flustered, he called her over. She made us wait. Kids still waiting out on the turf. Finally she comes over to explain that they can’t give our money back unless we complain to corporate. So we were out 60 dollars, so we were going back and forth for about 15 minutes and we asked if the kids could go in atleast. She unlocked the door and my 2 year old ran in and I guess took her socks off. The way this manager SCREAMED BLEW out an ear drum like it was so unnecessary. So i started to go after my kid and Lisa screamed at me too for wearing my shoes, she wouldn’t let me enter even though my kids ran in unattended. I took my shoes off and she already locked the door so I told her “you gotta open the door chop chop “ and she said actually you guys need to leave, I’m not letting you in. I said I need to get my kid. She opened the door and said if you don’t leave I’m calling the cops. I said give our money back so we can go and she said I’m already calling the cops so we waited to explain to them. I was SHOCKED! She even yelled at my children for sitting against a wall.
I’ve never experienced this in my life and I’m actually a super laid back and carefree as person and I’ve worked in retail most of my life, but I didn’t read the reviews and I’m regretful for that.
I will be contacting corporate and filing a claim against...
Read moreAmazing place!! Went yesterday and my kids had a blast! This place is a great place to let the kids be kids and burn some energy. For 22.90 per child and you have all day access and reentry if needed. 11 months and older same price. There’s a baby area just for toddlers and baby in diapers. No outside food or drinks but you’re more than welcome to go out have a bite and come back same day. Adults and children need socks to enter the park, even if you’re sitting, which I don’t mind.
There was a incident with another family that took place but honestly I believe it was the family fault, they came in a group of like 4 women with like a dozen children, mind you they had no control over these children at all. They were giving the worker a hard time. The women were screaming at the children, children were not following the rules after one of the workers had to constantly remind them of the store policies. The parents allowed for the children to do as they pleased. At the end the 4 women harassed the worker working that shift, they rushed her at the front desk showing middle finger at the worker, calling her racist, laughing, saying they were going slap the worker and that she put her hands on their children, Not true at all. The women had 6 children on one motorcycle, employee asked her that only two children can ride per ride or they could get damaged. The parent did not care, so the worker helped the children get off before they got hurt or run over by other children riding. The woman were being rude to other parents after they addressed all the cursing that the parents were doing around the children and calling them racist for not siding with them. No racist or offensive remarks were made based on their religion or beliefs. They also had their phones out harrasing and taking pictures and videos of the worker after being asked to leave the store. Places like these there are rules set in place, to ensure everyone’s safety. It’s parents responsibility to make sure your child is following them.
Overall, great experience, besides the incident, I will most definitely...
