I came in for high-dose Vitamin C therapy a couple of weeks ago and the results blew me away.
High-dose Vitamin C is most often used by cancer patients, either in combination with chemo or as a standalone therapy to kill cancer cells. Some highly promising research has come out about that in the last few years.
The reason I tried it was because I thought it could have a powerful systemic anti-inflammatory effect and just make me feel good.
Spoiler alert: IT DID. Beyond anything I could have possibly hoped for.
For one thing, my brain felt "cooler." It was like all the neuroinflammation I was walking around with every day (and accepting as normal) got doused by Arctic seawater. I felt clear, fast, high functioning.
Not only that, a ton of chronic muscular tension quite literally just...disappeared. This specific thing was REALLY surprising.
I had been getting two hour deep tissue massages basically every two weeks just to feel somewhat okay in my body and not be tight and tense all the time. My hands, especially, ALWAYS hurt from working online. After the Vitamin C, all of this pain was like 90% less. I almost couldn't believe it.
Another thing: energy. So much energy! I didn't feel drained by 5pm every day. I could stay up till 10 or 11 or later working on side projects or doing stuff I enjoy with plenty of energy left in the tank like when I was in my 20's (I'm 38 now.)
I could go on, but suffice it to say I felt so good after the Vitamin C infusion that I was honestly kind of pissed off nobody had told me about this sooner.
Will 100% be doing this monthly and can't recommend it enough.
I still feel night and day better almost two full weeks later.
The owners are also super nice and knowledgable.
The IV infusion process is safe, comfortable, etc.
Just a fantastic...
Read moreI had my first experience with DRIPBar Fairfield and the owner, Anthony, just the other day. The place is beautiful and inviting. The modern vibe and clean presentation broke the ice as this was my first time using a service that offers supplement shots and IV drips. It made it easy to get started. The doctor consult couldn't have been easier and before I knew it I had a nurse in my room giving me my Arginine/B12/Taurine shot. She explained everything that was in the shot and administered it without me even feeling a pinch. Amazingly efficient and professional. Anthony told me about the Bar, how he and his wife had recently purchased the business and gave me a little run down on the services they offer. No pressure and very informative. He told me I might feel a boost of energy and should feel confident in my overall feeling for a day or two. I ran one of my classic running routes and was as strong as I've been in a few years. Reminded me why I'm back on my fitness shit. Just a little freshness in my step and less stress than the hills usually give me. Clean, strong and optimistic. I'm looking forward to learning more about what supplemental usage can do to help me maintain my edge as I approach 50. ...
Read moreToday was my first visit to DRIPBaR Fairfield. I went at the suggestion of a friend who had visited also after suffering through flu and noro symptoms. I elected to do the Post-Viral IV with an extra bag of fluids. Priscilla, one of the owners, greeted me right away and set me up in a private room. In addition to owning, she is a registered nurse who talked me through all the nutrients I would be getting and took her time answering my questions. She checked on me every five minutes. Each infusion took 20-25 minutes and was virtually painless. I am already booked for my next visit which will be red light therapy in their private spa along with some salt therapy. For anyone battling through immune issues, I highly recommend going. They offer memberships which enable you to have a significant discount on services and when I went there were other promotions on various infusions. Looking forward to...
