Garden Catering - Fairfield — Restaurant in Fairfield

Garden Catering has the best chicken nuggets and seasoning around. I've been going to them regularly since they opened, but I recently moved to Danbury so I can't go as often as I'd like to. I recently stopped by for the first time in a while and noticed that they no longer have a fountain soda machine. They replaced it with coolers full of small cans of soda, water, etc. You used to be able to choose if you wanted a can/bottle or a fountain soda. I know it probably sounds silly to be upset about that, but considering the prices went up for the food it would be nice to be able to have refills while you're eating. They also replaced the Garden Catering rewards card with an app on your phone that connects to your debit/credit card, and you rack up points by using your debit or credit card instead of a rewards card. I almost always pay cash so I'm not a huge fan of that either. Other than those things, Garden Catering is great. Everyone is always friendly, I get my food quickly, it's very fresh, and it tastes amazing. I would definitely recommend them if you haven't...

I have been a long-time customer. For context, under the old rewards program, I frequented this restaurant so much I received the highest reward possible, the Vineyard Vines tie. As with all things, restaurants change and, from time to time, must be revaluated. I have been utterly astounded at the falling quality of one of my favorite places the last few years, and last night was the breaking point. While the value and food quality have steadily declined, I was not ready for a sheer lack of customer service. While the four employees on the floor had enough time to talk amongst each other, they did not have enough time to check the order. Such, the food was incorrectly cooked, seasoning was forgotten, and half the drinks were not included. Safe to say, this was a somewhat boring and embarrassing dinner to serve to family from out of town. I don't see myself going back any time soon. From 5 stars back then to...

I'm not too crazy about their food but my kids are... first time I bought the food today and I was so disappointed and disgusted....the staff has a horrible customer service.. I waited for 45 mins and then I realized that all the customers after me already left I asked one of the staff about my order and gave me an attitude and totally ignore my order and asked one of the staff to wrap it after he dropped the bag on the floor where he put my food. And the other staff was touching the food without a gloves after she wiped the counter with dirty rags. This place needs to be reported to Dept of Health and maybe the owner needs to be there or trained their staff with proper customer service. Horrible place will never go back there again. And their food are too expensive for a chicken nuggets. Nothing really especial...
