So I go into the store to buy two shirts, I get to the cashier and she asked me if I had a phone number for her to put in for any sales. I politely said no thank you. She looked at me and said really? And I said yes no thank you, she says you know we donāt call you or anything like that. I said I knowā¦ā¦ but no thank you. After three no thank youās ⦠she continued, and said āI really hate it when people donāt take advantage of our sales!ā And Iām thinking I said no thank you three times, and I said thatās fine, but no thank you yet again. And I donāt take everything literally⦠But after three times saying no thank you ⦠and then her expressing her hate for me not taking the sales option. Especially in todayās society where everybody is so touchy about what people say and do. If the customer says no thank you the first time it should be dropped, the second third and fourth times shouldnāt even happen. So Iām sorry Pauline I had to say no. My wife has the card anyways and we never get anything off of it anyhow..anyways⦠so, have a great day. Other then that the store is awesome! Even pauline, because shes just doing her job.
Iām glad to see nothing changes. Today I went to your store yet again to be insulted. This time I had a cashier name Steve and it was around noon time. It was not busy. He asked me if I had a card? And I said no and then he says I hate it when people like this donāt take the card. ā And I looked at him kind of shocked because Iām like OK what the heck was that all about. So then he turns and heās talking to the next cashier while doing my transaction. And gets confused and starts taking the next lady in line stuff and I went whoa whoa whoa hold on thatās not mine. I go hit some cash money And he looked at me goes no and I said no and never did anything for me. Well, he looks at me and says a credit card never did anything for you. I thought he was asking for the shoppers card that you guys give out which I have said no to a bazillion times and have been told how much the cashier hates it when customers donāt take the card. Here it is two years later go back to the same store and guess what it happens yet again. You got your cashiers that the customer is 90% always right, that if they donāt want another useless card in their wallet or on their phone or whatever no no, you donāt have to tell a customer that you hate it , when the customer doesnāt take advantage of it, there is no advantage. I have never gotten anything on my card from the store. This is not a review. This is a real review and I will never go there again. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI usually go here with my gf occasionally to grab some stuff cheap. Itās why anyone and everyone goes to job lot. Well today I brought my mother and gf because we were looking for a standalone AC unit and some other misc items. We go to cash out and have to wait in a long line like usual and when we finally get to the counter we have an associate who just wonāt hold back. He kept messing up our total and telling us about this gift card deal they have, and my mom answered first saying she was not interested. Then he does the whole thing again, and my gf responds that sheās not interested. He goes on to tell us 4 different times and we just keep saying āthanks but weāre not interestedā. Then I had to go to the register because he was physically making my mom and gf uncomfortable because he would not back off on this whole gift card thing. I finally went up and just ignored it all until he finally let us just give him the cash and cash. To end this statement I am not upset with the employee, he is most likely told to force this thing down the customers throat. But no means no. We didnāt say it once or twice. It was at minimum 5 times we had to hear about how we should do it and āIāve never once had someone turn this down, thatās crazy, all my years here you guys are the firstā. I can never understand why it seems like time stands still in line at the register. always a long line to checkout, folks behind the register seem to have a good attitude/demeanor, but no sense of urgency whatsoever. Again usually very friendly staff, but always feels draining waiting to check out.
Today I discovered that regular cashiers are not allowed to delete an accidentally-scanned item, and need a manager or supervisor to come delete the item. This happened with the customer in front of me, and the cashier repeatedly had to yell out that they needed a delete, with no response from any sort of supervisor for a few minutes while the line grew longer. Finally after yelling out a few times, the cashier had to leave their post and go find a supervisor to come delete this item from the transactions. Why in the world do your cashiers not have the ability to delete a miss-scanned item???
