When we drove up to the restaurant we were excited to see what looked like an authentic Mexican restaurant. We were greeted quickly and sat at a comfortable table. The menu had a lot to choose from and had many pictures of great looking food. We were quickly greeted by our server and she took our drink orders. She returned shortly and took our order I ordered the lobster tacos . I asked her if they were good and she replied they were very good. My husband ordered a combo plate . A short time later our plates arrived and she said be careful of my plate because it was very hot. When I started to eat I was surprised to find out my tacos were cold. Chilled lobster served on a cold flour tortilla with cold mango salsa on a hot plate? The tortillas were soggy from the juice from the cold lobster and salsa. I expected it to be warm like a shrimp taco or fish taco. I was very disappointed. The chips and salsa were delicious. My husband liked his and we would return to try different dishes. The food other tables were enjoying looked very good I think I just made the wrong decision for me and wish I was told or read it was a cold taco.

Food The food was better than what I expected, and the drinks were good too. What I found interesting was they had a small cart going around selling freshly made guacamole. Tortilla chips with freshly made guacamole was great. Moving on to the main course. The scallop taco was bland and felt like different ingredients got put together, but didn’t get mixed very well. However the Marco Polo taco was pretty decent. The bacon wrapped shrimp had a good flavour. Everything else The service was super quick. It almost felt like they knew what we were gonna order and gave everything ready at the side. As soon as we order, the food was served. However, our waiter was okay.

Wonderful! And surprising. Frontera Grill is a colorful Mexican restaurant with expert waitstaff; none of whom hovered over us. No one asked, "Is everything okay?" They didn't ask because they know it is more than okay, it's fantastic! Reasonably priced for the portion-- which was quite large--and one would think the size and quality of the fresh ingredients would command higher prices. Shhh...don't tell them! Plenty of parking just off Rt 6 in Fairhaven, Massachusetts, and it is handicapped acceptable. Frontera Grill is clean, relatively cozy, colorful, professionally staffed, and an absolute delight to the palate.

What the heck is going on with this place? Delivery from Texas.? Or truck full of illegals!? We went to the bar before going to our table. We ordered 2 beers from the bar menu, listed as $5 each, which is cheap but then actually got charged 5.85 each. Ok so big deal, we let it go. Then we ordered two shots of patron small shots & got charged $9 each. When we asked if it was correct, were told it is cheap. Ok, we let that go too & tipped her well. We sat down & before we even ordered The quacamole cart came around we bought a large overpriced bowl of quacamole & tipped the girl generously. Then we ordered a combination plate, which we were told we could pick any of the tacos or burritos from the other page of the menu for small uncharge. So we each chose & ordered. Two of us got upgraded meats, but got served the regular tacos that come with the plate for no upcharge. We pointed it out to our waiter & he told us we wouldn't be charged. The food was Ok, but not great! Of course when the bill came each plate was charged an extra $4. We asked what was going on & he appologized & explained it was $2 for the upgraded meat that we weren't served & $2 for sour cream & guacamole that was on our plates, that we didn't want (we had already eaten a whole big bowl of it from the cart), and we weren't offered & didn't even know would come on our plates. We explained we hadn't wanted any of that & had been to full to eat it anyway. He apologized & said he took it off one of us best he could do. I told him no apology needed, but you can't just upcharge people for something they don't want, or even knew would come, or didn't even get! He didn't take it off the bill! I'll never go back....

My son ordered a salad which on the menu is listed as: "CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD $10.25 Grilled chicken strips and romaine lettuce tossed in a traditional Caesar dressing. Topped with croutons and cheese." The salad comes out with tomatoes and beans in it. I ask the server for the menu before saying anything thinking maybe I misread. Once I confirmed these ingredients were not listed I explained to the server that our order was incorrect and showed her the menu. She took the salad and returned minutes later wirh the same exact salad but with croutons on top. I explained again what the issue was...and she took the salad again. She returned again and the salad still had tomatoes and beans. A third time the salad was brought out by a gentleman who confirmed the order was now correct. The salad now had the same tomatoes...and avocados. To make matters worse the server said "this is how they make it they probably forgot it on the menu." Well, I'm ordering a Caesar salad based on the menu...if those items were listed I would order something else or ask that those items be held. Long story short - my son had chips and salsa for dinner and they never got the salad correct. Nobody in the kitchen or waitstaff seemed to be able to connect the dots between what was listed in the menu and what was being served and I really didn't want them to try a 4th time and have to send...

Walked in and got seated right away. That was the best part. After that, everything went down hill. Took almost 40 minutes for the food to come out, and we got in before the rush started. The plates come out, my taco plate ice cold, wife’s plate cold, son’s plate is room temperature. After waiting another 25 mins, waiter finally comes back over because I had to wave him down. Then they bring out the plate again roughly 5 minutes later. This time it was the most bland food I’ve ever ate, and again, barely room temperature. Waiter doesn’t check back in again till he brings the check over to us. Didn’t ask if we wanted dessert or anything. Waited another 25 minutes and had to wave him down again. Telling him, not paying for that taco plate. Both times the plate was nasty. He doesn’t say a word, sends the manager over. Manager only asks if I ate the plate… which between both plates of tacos they served me, I had about 1 taco in total. He then goes back n’ forth with me over it. Then finally comps the taco plate. This will be the last time I am going there, and I’m a regular customer there…. Shame, food quality went down hill. Service was terrible . I understand there was a rush but a total of 5 tables 2 of them which where big groups got their food before us and left before us...
