168 Sushi & Kitchen — Restaurant in Fairhaven

First visit to this restaurant was a nice experience I ordered salmon tempura rolls which were good and vegetable soup which was OK. My second visit was not as good this time I ordered tempura vegetables with came with vegetables sautéed vegetables and rice the vegetable tempura was not fried long enough. The battle was very light it was soft when you bit into a cut into the tempura it was still battle which was not fully cooked was terrible awful to say the least I should’ve sent it back but I didn’t the vegetables were OK they lacked seasoning and the rice was just again OK very disappointing I would like to try this restaurant a third time. I will order something different hopefully I’ll like it so it’ll be a place that I want to visit more frequent. if my third visit isn’t good then that’ll be the last time I go there. Food was really good but they crammed and smashed all the sushi into the containers, I’m sure to save on containers. I spent 130$ on sushi and a lot of it crumbled in your hand while trying to take it out of the containers, since all the rolls were stuck together, not really acceptable. Parts of the rolls were actually smashed in the seal of the containers because they crammed them in there so tightly. Also got steak fried rice and steak yaki soba , both of which were really really good. The restaurant is cute and clean inside, they really need to work on their take out methods. Food was ok but will never visit this establishment ever again and I hope nobody else will as well. It's not the cleanest and when I went in there I saw the owners totally being rude to a woman who had ordered food and they wouldn't give it to her and after talking to her found out the reason was because her son's girlfriend had been double charged the week before on her card and called the bank to dispute it. Mind you, she said her son ordered there 5 times a week. They totally embarrassed this poor woman in front of everybody eating there for something they did wrong !!!
