Town Fair Tire — Local services in Fairhaven

I am very happy with Town Fair Tire. I arrived there on the Saturday of the July 4th weekend and the service manager on duty advised that my OEM Michelin tires would not be available until the work week. He printed out information for me so that I could order the tires from another service manager in the following week. When I called Jordan, he quoted a price for the tires that is below online prices. The tires were installed in about one hour while my wife and I went to a favorite nearby restaurant. My new tires included a free front end alignment. That work showed that the alignment was necessary, and now, horrah, they've solved that problem!

Also worth mentioning: I had bought a lower-priced tire at another Town Fair location and it was on my car for a week. They're policy is to give a full refund for a tire within 30 days. It's like getting free use for a spare tire. The other tire that wasa on the car is in good condition, so I asked the mto save it for me. It was packaged into a clean plastic bag and was in my car upon our exit. Tire rotations are free, so I'll return, again and again to this location. My review would have had five stars, but navigating through the voice prompts to get a live person on the phone is lengthy and bothersome. When I connected with a live person, I asked where they are. Even though I had called the store in Watertown, MA (for the first tire), I was talking with someone in Georgia. Happily, though, when I arrived at the Watertown store, they had the tire and they were able to fit me in for the installation.

I can't finish without recognizing the first service manager at the Fairhaven store, Rene. He printed the information that I needed when I later connected with Jordan. Rene also gave me the names of the two service managers who would be working: Jimmy and Jordan. I commend the service and teamwork at this Town Fair...

On 8/07/24 I went to Town Fair Tire in Fairhaven, MA hoping to get an appointment for some new tires for our 2013 Honda Ridgeline. I was warmly greeted by the store manager Jimmy. Informed him of what I was in need of and he asked if I would take a walk to our vehicle to check out the tire situation. We agreed that four tires were in need of replacement and that the work could be done immediately. We chose some tires, I was informed about the three different brands and pricing for each. I sign the paperwork, paid and was told that I would receive a call when the was work completed. Seriously, within 45 minutes, I was called and informed that the car was ready Since I was still in the area of the store I was there within 10 minutes. I walked in and the store manager, Jimmy, explained to me what was done. The vehicle had the four new tires, alignment done, tires computer balanced and had the tire sensors reconditioned. I had also purchased the road hazard insurance. I met the two tire technicians and thanked them for the speedy work. I was handed all the paperwork for the vehicle and was on my way. Well, all I can say is Town Fair Tire in Fairhaven, MA is the place to go. To whom it may concern, the company is privileged to have these people in their employment. Once again that is the reason for my return business....

I couldn’t be happier about the exceptional service I got from John, Jimmy and Chris at Town Fair Tire. I blew my tire on a road trip and needed a complete replacement. I literally called 10 tire shops on the Cape and they all said they didn’t know if they’d be able to get me in the next day at all — but if I was lucky, it would take all day, which would mean I’d have to pay for two nights at a hotel instead of one. All the available dog friendly hotels on the Cape were $400+ because it was Friday evening.

I decided to drive to New Bedford hoping I’d have better luck. I’m so glad I did. I came here first thing in the morning. They didn’t have my exact tire in stock, so Jimmy and John actually let me take a less expensive tire to finish my trip to NYC — where I had many plans with longtime friends — while they ordered my tire from their warehouse, and offered to install it on my way back home, at no extra charge beyond what my more expensive tire would cost, not even a charge for two installs. They didn’t try to upsell me anything, and I know they charged me a fair price because I looked up all the pricing last night. Chris did my tire change. The whole thing literally took 36 minutes total - after 10 shops on the Cape all told me it’d take a day or longer. They really made my day, saved my trip, and saved me...
