My wife and I went to Warby Parker for the very first time to get eye exams and a new pair of glasses. Our experience at the Summit Mall location was surprisingly positive and it started with just walking in the entrance and being greeted cheerily. It’s a small place but all of their frame styles were out and their prices visible.
Eye exams were done by Julia Lentz, O.D. and we found her to be thorough and very pleasant.
Graham was really helpful getting us proper styles to match our needs (I need progressive lenses) and he took more time to measure my eyes for the glasses I picked than anyone else ever had for previous glasses I’ve purchased with other vision stores.
There was also the person who welcomed us when we arrived and got us checked in—a cheery older gentleman who was super friendly and eager to help. He kept my wife engaged with conversation until I was done with my eyeglass measurement and payment.
This was a really unique and enjoyable experience for us and I have a feeling we’ll be back!
My wife and I returned to the Summit Mall store this morning so I could purchase a pair of prescription sunglasses and so she could get her prescription sunglasses adjusted. There were three different people there today, but we got the same cheery reception and great quality of service that we got...
Read moreThe selection and the associate that helped me purchase my glasses-5/5. The optician who was supposed to adjust my glasses on June 6 shortly after receiving them 0/5. The optician who adjusted them yesterday and identified the problems 5/5.
The store selection and purchase process is excellent. The communication via email about the status of the purchase is also very good. However, my first trip to get the frames adjusted on June 6 was frankly bad. The first optician either was incompetent or lazy (maybe both). She brushed off my concerns that the glasses did not sit straight on my face. She tried to assign blame to the frame style and my ears. As a person who has worn glasses for years, this is laughable. I went back into the store yesterday and thankfully a different optician was available. She immediately identified the problems including an issue with a lens not being correctly seated in the frame. She also seemed surprised that the glasses had been adjusted by someone in store on a previous visit and apologized . My frames now sit correctly across my face and around my ears.
It’s difficult to recommend this location knowing that you may get poor service when needing an adjustment...
Read moreUPDATE: initial visit great customer service with Spencer. HOWEVER; after my glasses came, 3 days after promised delivery date, the lens wasn't installed properly so I took them to the store and was told several contradictory statements by manager Julie with final answer being I would have to upgrade to more expensive pair. Too many details to post regarding how rude and disrespectful she was/is and her poor customer service with no intention to problem solve just upgrade; reused to give me store manager info, etc. etc..Please remember if seems too good to be true (only $95 pair) then it is. Buyers beware dont get your glasses from here. They treat you great in beginning but soon after you e made your purchase, you are irrelevant. However, I want to thank you for your poor service Warby Parker because it led me to Lenscrafters and I now have awesome glasses and their customer service...
