Fairview Commons — Local services in Fairview Township

This store doesn't necessarily carry all the brands you may normally buy but let me say it's definitely worth a shot as they have a little of this and a little of that! Over 5 visits I can honestly say I've saved at least 2 hundred dollars! My profile doesn't show me visiting to often but that's because I forget my phone! Warning, this store is located on the west shore and you must be aware of the high volume traffic hours! I'm on the east shore and if I don't go after 6:30 PM I could end up sitting in traffic for an hour or more! It's not much better for those on the west shore as this store is located just off of I-83 North and South a highly traveled highway! As I said I live on the east shore and if I go after 6:30 I can get there in 10 minutes! Factor all these things in and get ready to save, save and...

My sister lives close by and had to grab a few things at Giant. I wasn't impressed in the least. This was the worst grocery store I've been to in a while. Employee in produce looked sloppy, bagged store brand salad, three different varieties, about ten bags we looked at were all going bad. Amazingly helpful and sweet employee in the dairy area though! Strange rotten food smells (fishy chicken?) Which turned my stomach to the point that I wanted to run for the door. The cashier was nice, personable, and trying his best. Wasn't very well trained with WIC, but apologized profusely, so no biggie. I told my sister several times- I wouldn't come back here...and I hope she doesn't. This had adequate parking. And it was the usual types of stores in this type of an area. Eyes able to find easily what I wanted and also saw a lot of other things that I thought I wanted but I knew that I really didn't. Kind of dangerous shopping in these kinds of stores can you think oh I want that and oh I could use that and oh would not be neat.
