I am giving this place 5 stars, because the deals. ARE DEALS.
This store is basically the Marshall's of grocery stores! It really is. They have a lot of name brand groceries, mixed with a lot of generic brands.
With that they have some AMAZING deals on the name brand groceries and they have so many different brands that you may not have heard of, but that does not mean they are generic, they are actually expensive speciality brands sold at Wegmans, Whole Foods, Moms Organic, etc.
With that, shopping here felt like a treasure hunt, and I walked away very satisfied. I got a 20oz of speciality brand ground coffee beans for $6, Chobani Pumpkin Oat Milk for $2 (this would be $6 at Whole Foods), a healthy 12oz Orzo vegetable side from a Whole Foods brand for .99 cents! This would be selling for $4.99/$5.99 in Whole Foods, along with some other things!
With that, the Club Soda I bought here, was actually more expensive than Wegmans. So like others have said. They have a lot of great prices, and then some stuff is the same or more. But that is with any store! Its just good to notate, not everything is cheaper.
Now I would not do all my grocery shopping here, but it is 100% worth keeping it on a biweekly rotation to stop at minimum.
BUT for pantry staples, snacks and frozen items it is top notch.
I kind of was ignorant and never stopped in here prior thinking it was similar to Sharp Shopper in Middletown, selling expired off brand items. But it is not that whatsoever. It is the Marshall's of grocery stores.
It's honestly a fun store to shop at to score some deals. Product is always changing so if you see a deal. Grab it.
My ONLY critique and most likely why I never stopped in before. The store is kind of dirty, both exterior and interior. Exterior windows look dirty and the interior floors were dirty and shelves didn't feel that clean either. Coolers didn't seem to be working well either in the front so I walked right past the meat, Leary if they were chilled properly.
Elevate the store cleanliness and I guarantee sales will increase...
Read moreBefore I rip into this place, I want to say I have been shopping at grocery outlets across the country for years and am usually very satisfied especially since I know what to expect from the chain not to mention my family owned several franchises ourselves. Secondly I do understand that inflation is theft and is hitting everyone hard. That all being said, I have a serious issue with how they are marketing their discounts. This and the several other local grocery outlets are exaggerating the cost that other grocery stores charge for the same item or like items. Unfortunately for this store it is located right next to a Giant and on average I found that the Giant had matching prices or Grocery Outlet was only saving you about 50 cents per item with an expiration date right around the corner. That said you can still find some deals worth shopping for here, just wish they weren’t trying to tell you a box of 12oz cheezits is 9 dollars at...
Read moreI go to this store for one reason and one reason only, they sell Philadelphia Water Ice by the half gallon. Cherry water ice with Vanilla Gelati. It's Rita's in my freezer!!🍨🍒 I did find a few other items that I felt were a pretty great find. They had 3 lb bags of Eight O'clock Coffee for $12.99, I happen to love this brand of coffee so I got very excited!! On the down side the cashier was kinda clueless and it took forever to check out. They carry non food items to at discounted prices as well. This store is in a shopping plaza in New Cumberland and in this shopping center there is also a Dollar Tree, Dairy Queen, Tobacco store, a pizza place, an outgrown shop, a tax place(not sure which one) and in the plaza next door is Giant, Fine Wine & Spirits, and a Chinese restaurant. Also just an FYI Giant has installed some Electric charging stations which is...
