Olde Towne Beverage — Local services in New Cumberland

I stopped in while in the area and picked up my usually case of beer. I noticed it was a few dollars more expensive than the 2 other distributors I frequent. The other issue I encountered is the parking lot entrance. There are to bollards leading in and out onto Bridge St that make it a tight squeeze if there are people trying to enter and exit at the same time. I'm not sure if anything can be done about it, but it will not stop me from coming back, it just helps knowing it might take a little longer to navigate the parking lot. I'm not holding anything against Olde Towne for the parking lot since this seems out of their control, but I can't justify stopping in when I know my beer is cheap elsewhere. Pricing is not competitive on a lot of products that I wanted to purchase here. Watch for items with no price listed. Twice I couldn't purchase because the "boss" wasn't there and they didn't know the price. Plan on carrying it back to the shelf after they tell you the price. Not what it used to be. New owners and a new layout. Definitely caters to micro brew drinkers than it did before. Staff are accommodating and the owner has a great understanding of the beer he is selling. Check out their discount mix 6 as it's a good way to try a beer you normally would commit to. Great local beer distributor. A side note, they now have lottery sales on site now as well, which is another plus considering you can kill 2 birds...
