I truly cannot say enough to express how grateful I am for Vanessa and Alcinda!!! I reached out to them for last minute alterations on a maid of honor gown. I had alterations done with another seamstress and after picking up my dress from that seamstress a week before the wedding my dress did not fit correctly, it was so tight and constricting on the chest and loose and fluffy at my hips, the dress looked like it was tailored for a totally different body type. Vanessa was SO helpful working with my schedule to get me in and fix my dress before the wedding. When I picked up the dress i was SO relieved at how well it fit and how comfortable it was, I don’t even know how they did it but they truly worked magic and saved my life. I was so impressed at how effortlessly they fixed my gown within a week of the big day. I picked up my dress from them the day before the wedding so all my trust was truly on them. I recently dropped off a few pairs of my dad's messed up pants that he refuses to part with. They had tattered holes in the butt pocket and insisted I fix them. I decided I needed a professional to fix them up as well as hem a pair of pants for myself so I contacted this business. From the initial contact all the way to pick up this mother and daughter duo is so friendly, professional and lovely to be around. I was escorted upstairs to their beautiful studio with a smile, offered water and had my pants pinned to make sure they were the perfect length. Alcinda’s work made the dress fit me PERFECTLY. I didn’t have to touch it at all through the day and most importantly, I felt really good in it again. She went a step further and altered the bustle to highlight the lace train better and even pressed the dress for me.
