Party of two, ordered an appetizer and two entrees. We were greeted at the door to a friendly relaxed vibe. We were seated and the waitress was over quickly who was also friendly. She brought us water with lime and menus.
We decide on Macho Nachos with shredded chicken and for the two entrees, Steak Quesadilla and The Texan Burrito. One immediate turn off is the lack of a starter snack like basic tortilla chips and salsa or even just bread. The idea is you want your guest to cleanse their pallet and be able to enjoy the flavor of their food without significant hunger.
The Macho Nachos arrived in about ten minutes, not a terrible wait. The nachos were quite tasty. However at the cost of nearly $15 for Macho Nachos with chicken I expected a generous portion of chicken, as the extra cost was $4. The appetizer featured around three ounces of chicken. It was quite disappointing.
The entrees were served promptly after we finish the appetizer. She got the Steak Quesadilla. The steak was flavorful and tender however the entree features grill green chili peppers but was on only three of the quesadilla pieces, leaving one as just cheese and chicken. This subpar preparation of a meal belong in the likes of a $4 Taco Bell quesadilla, certainly not one you pay $12 for. Pretty big disappointment.
I ordered the Texan Burrito. The burrito features shredded chicken, a citrus BBQ sauce, rice, beans, sour cream, and fresh vegetables. The ingredients used were high quality. However the citrus BBQ sauce was overbearing and does not blend well with the rest of the ingredients. I can understand using this sauce on chicken but the sauce was centrally located in the rice, rendering the rice as sauce soaked sponges that was laborious to get through. I would recommend a spicy chipotle BBQ sauce on this item or perhaps just a flavorful hot sauce. Anything would be better than how this item is prepared.
We waited a bit too long for our check after our waitress had passed by our table multiple times seeing we were finished. I had to stop her and ask for my check.
Final bill was $41. Average customer service. They use fresh ingredients. Some decisions by the chef create an inferior product. Price compared to portions is appalling. Overall, the experience wasn’t painful but there are much better options for authentic Mexican cuisine.

Read moreupon entering this establishment my guest and i was not greeted after two servers walked right past up (they was not busy) finally someone greeted us sat us down with menus and just walked away. fifteen to twenty minutes later a server came over and asked if she can start us off with some drink we said yes and also stated we was ready to order. My guest ordered a burrito bowl with lemonade i ordered a burrito with a coke. The server came out with the drinks which was wrong instead of a lemonade my guest received a sprite. (The lemonade tasted really bad) we then waited almost a half hour for the food came out the burrito bowl came served on a plate when we asked one of the two servers that we had if she could see if they could possibly put it in a hard bowl she said she would look into it for us and never did we had to wait and ask for utensils to be brought out to us i ordered extra sour cream and salsa on the side when the food was brought out to us they was also missing no big deal it happens but when we asked one server about it she again said she will get it and never came back the other server noticed it was missing went and brought it out to us. No one came back to the table to ask if we needed anything no refills on our drinks or anything so i asked for a take home box as well as asking for the bill. when i finally pulled my laptop out to submit feed back to my job i noticed the waitresses talking to one another that's when one of the two waitresses approached the table and then apologized for the long wait and mistakes and said it was because they was busy. They were not busy at all. The food was good minus the burrito bowl coming on a plate and the chips that come out with your meal are extra hard and they do not come with any type of dipping sauce. They have one size beverage that cost 4 dollars the cups are small a whole can of soda would not fit in these cups with ice. Overall the food is good a tad bit over priced as far as the servers they are very...
Read moreFirst customer and I am not disappointed!
As for the service I was very pleased, I was greeted right when I walked in by the hostess who sat myself and my husband right at a little two top by the window. The waitress came right over with water and introduced herself and I was very impressed how she asked about food allergies, most places I have been too normally do not think to ask. After she greeted us we asked what the popular items on the drink menu/food menu were and she of course told us about the avocado fries and they are known for their unique cocktails and fresh squeezed margaritas.
For our drinks we decided to go with one of the popular items (freshed squeezed margaritas), I chose the blood orange flavor and my husband the regular. Very delicious and the fresh squeezed lime is so much better than the sour mix normally used to make one. The drinks came pretty quickly and they were perfect!
Since I have heard all about their avocado fries and their freshly made burritos and I had to come check it out. The avocado fries were delicious, very creamy on the inside with a nice coating on the outside. I ended up going with the Texan burrito and it was absolutely mouthwatering, inside was a zesty chipotle bbq sauce that added the perfect touch.
My husband chose the steak fajitas and he was very impressed with how flavorful and fresh they were.
Overall I highly recommend you to give it a try, you will not be disappointed. Everything was delicious, the service was amazing and a very relaxed atmosphere. Also everything is fresh and made to order so if you are looking for fast food than Id recommend McDonalds because with a scratch kitchen it may take a little bit longer but it is...
