Taqueria El Habanero — Restaurant in Fall River

Call to place an order a very simple taco order and the man who answer the phone was extremely rude ; once I told him what I wanted he just said that’s it ok 25-30 mins and hangs up … I understand they are busy and assumed he prob forgot to ask for my name for the order so I just call back and tell him hey I’m the person that just order the tacos to which he replied very rudely I ALREADY SAID 25-30 mins to which I only reply saying listen I was just calling to give you a name for the order .. how are you gonna know who’s order of tacos that Is if your busy and pick up time is 25-30 mins I was just trying to help you out and again rudely he just sights and says OK MAAM WHAT IS YOUR NAME!? To which I just said “no thank you you can cancel my order have a good day”. I understand people have bad days and that most likely they are busy but that’s not the right way to treat a customer I was just trying to place and order and helping you out bc most likely 25-30 mins come and I go pick up my order they will tell me sorry we gave it to someone else or sorry we don’t have record of it .. but oh well have fun been rude...

I was very excited to order from here because the reviews are great, but based on my experience tonight I wouldn’t order delivery here again in the future! My first and last time. The delivery time was over an hour and a half for two tacos and chicken fajita, along with chips and dip. Which, for a busy night, I totally understand. I don’t mind waiting for delicious food. However…

I ordered the shrimp taco, and the steak taco. My shrimp taco seemed as if it had a single shrimp in it, cut into four small pieces with hardly anything else inside of the shell. My steak taco was cold, to the point where the shell was limp from the grease and tasted like cardboard. My queso was also cold, and the container’s bottom was hardly covered.

My sister had the chicken fajita. She said the fajita mixture, itself, was delicious but her rice ended up mixed with her sour cream and quac somehow.

For the price, the ratings, I expected a LOT more. I don’t mind waiting and paying for delicious food, but this was not it. Maybe (hopefully) just an off night! If I do give this place another try, I would dine in and hope for...

This place is the best Mexican restaurant in the area, PERIOD. If you want to satiate yourself with the best quality Spanish food and can engorge yourself to the point of loosening the belt,,,this is the place. Lots of places now don't care about the natural ingredients anymore and give alot of fake sugars and chemical additives in the food. This place has none of that and when you walk away after 6 taco supremes, you don't feel sick from chemical additives that are in almost every other restaurant. This is truly a step into South of the Boarder cooking and eating without having to leave Massachusetts. Enjoy to the fullest and thank you Taqueria El Habanero for making...
