Dollar Fun — Local services in Fall River

Not an actual "dollar" or even a "$5 or less" store, just a "discount" shop. Pretty large and diverse selection of goods, though some of it is cheap trash, like the bulk Chinese "jewelry" and generic plastic toys. They have some higher priced goods like pushcarts and I believe fans, but these are items you could get elsewhere for a similar price and not have to deal with the hassle that surely will come up with their "no refunds" policy. Keep in mind that "Defective merchandise must be accepted for return, regardless of any policy, and you must be given the option of a repair, replacement item, or refund of the price" under MA law. I haven't had to deal with this myself, but this seems like the type of place that will make you jump through hoops, so I wouldn't purchase something for any significant amount of money that I would need to rely on for some time.

As for the staff, it's an "urban" store mentality, so leave any bags you bring in behind the counter or supposedly they'll want to search them. "Everyone's a thief" and all of that nonsense. Can't say I've noticed being followed, but that may be up to demographics or my own lack of awareness. I don't doubt...

You never know what you will find in this treasure hunt amazing store! Some items are over a dollar, and some are even less than a dollar. People constantly ask me "Where did you get that?" and I tell them it's from here! The Bounty Big Roll paper towels are $2.39 a roll here, so two are $4.78; Market Basket price $5.99 for two, so it's a $1.21 less here. Vast selection of greeting cards for just about every occasion imaginable (Happy Birthday to my doctor, never seen that before) for 94 cents each. The young lady usually at the register is so sweet. I found some good finds. Not everything they sell is for a dollar. These hats were $2.00 each and the wooden signs. I notice they don't sell many non parish foods items like my favorite vegan ramen noodles I believe it was by canton? They came in vegetable flavors. I don't know it just seems like they don't sell as much goods like the beginning of last year. I hope that will change because this store has nice employees who greet you when you walk in and...
