Beautifully eclectic and unique in its assortment. The staff clearly loves what they do; driven by the quality of the sale over the volume of sales. One of the more thoughtful group I’ve met in retail. Plus, they’re just super nice people. Cannot beat Rhonda for being the nicest, most attentive. Met co-owner Doug too, chiming in with an occasional well appointed suggestion was a treat too. The ethic of quality here runs strong.

To the people that think they are overpaying; there is a cost to everything. If you want to find a discount site, or a mass retailer for less, they exist for a reason - volume. If you want to skip buying the wrong size, or have your wife later tell you that color is terrible on you, then go to Maxwell & Co. Having a bespoke-like level of attentiveness must be worth something. Taking into consideration the individuals type, tastes, and personality and using that to help inform your choices is a service I would gladly pay for. While window shopping in Falmouth, I stumbled into this clothing store since my partner saw something that she liked. I went in and was browsing when I saw some ties and sports jackets that I too liked. The quality and selection of the products were outstanding and what really impressed me was the level of service. From the salesman who assisted me in trying on the jacket, to the tailor who helped me with the alterations measurements, the entire experience was seemless and extremely professional. However, the reason for the 5-star review was how communicative, understanding, and professional everyone was even after I had a change of heart and canceled my sale the next day. They followed up with voicemail as well as with email correspondence confirming and assuring me that the payment for the purchases had been refunded to my account. Well I have to say, I personally and my husband have had wonderful experiences at the Maxwell and Co store in Falmouth. We love the hands on experience of feeling like we have a personal shopper at our finger tips, whether i'm in town or out of state the service is first class. We have been shopping with the Maxwell's since 1989 and I can speak to their efforts to find unique and quality product from around the world.
