I have been a satisfied, long time and good customer for years, and a year round customer for one. Four days ago I purchased $200 worth of baking supplies including a springform pan, specifically for a Master Class cake recipe my niece asked me to make with her. In my 60 years of baking I have never had a leaky springform pan; this new pan leaked. I have called twice about returning it and I have just been told by the store that I should have lined it with parchment paper (contrary to the recipe but which I do with my regular pans). I was told all springform pans leak if the batter is not thick enough. (It didn't on the YouTube video). I think the pan cost $8. Walls and walls and shelves of supplies, at average price in a very touristy area. One aisle is fully stocked with Japanese ceramics!!! Really cute bowls, cups, dishes, which trust me, are hard to find outside Japanese specialty stores - even Japanese grocery stores don't carry this big a variety. This put a gold star on the store for me. They also stock teas, teaware, and a very yummy brand of soy-free dairy-free fine chocolate made in Cape Cod.
