Halberstadt's on Broadway — Local services in Fargo

I participated in an event which purchased numerous men's suits including shoes and other peripheral items. Primary liaison staff guy on Broadway claimed to be there 11 years but came across as unprofessional and condescending with some of us. Several suits had significant issues with sizing including a few that required significant changes or alterations. Accidents happen, but he made ridiculous comments actually trying to blame us for their mistakes! "They" told us to get measured 8 weeks early, then "he" later blamed us for errors as being due to getting measured too soon? Sorry buddy, but we did exactly what you asked of us and some of the sizes were off more than a slight tweak in the waist. Stick to one recipe and take responsibility when you are caught making a mistake.

In the end this one person would then act defensive about the fit, look and pinch the material, claim how they would correct their issues yet not write anything down, and go figure the next revision was still not right. Would never recommend Halberstadts to anyone!!!! Measurements were wrong for just about every man in the wedding party, after wearing the suits for less than one hour strings were popping out every which way, most groomsmen’s pockets on the breast was sewn shut and had to be opened up the day of the wedding, the calves on most of the pants were not the same size (one was smaller than the other). We had some suits that were not ready 30 days before like Halberstadts always guarantees. For the men living out of state the sizes were all wrong when they were shipped causing a headache with sending suits back and forth. The zipper busted on the best man’s pants resulting in the groom giving the best man his own pants and the groom wearing pants from home.

Overall, not impressed at all with Halberstadts. Would not recommend unless you’d like to have a hassle on your hands on top of all the planning you’re doing for the...

My experience at Halberstadt’s on Broadway has been exceptional. I am getting married in May and my groomsmen and I are all wearing navy suits, along with my dad. We would have paid $180 to rent suits at Men’s Warehouse, but we purchased these for $200 each. The package came with everything expect shoes, socks, and a belt, which I would expect. I have consistently been helped by Tim who has always been excited to talk to me and celebrate my monumental life event. When details have changed with my wedding party, he has readily accommodated my new situation. Today I went to pick up my suit and got there before the store opened by mistake, but he saw me at the door and let me in as I was about to turn away.
