Honestly it pains me to write this review! Despite my experience I want to give it 1 star but the reps and selection are so awesome I have to give it 2 despite the below issue! I have shopped here and had great sales reps - but recently - after spending into the thousands of dollars over the last 11 months - I had an experience where they sold me a coat with a small rip. No Big Deal I thought..... I called immediately to explain. Upon returning it the owner confronted me like I was a coat ripping liar over an item that was on the rack for less than 120 dollars. It was as if I had taken a Porshe off the lot and drove it in the dirt for a month and tried to take it back! I felt completely insulted and was treated as if anyone but me could have seen the preexisting tear. He acted like a complete vulture- as if I WAS A F**G LIAR - as if his entire store would close if he gave me a store credit and he ultimately refused to do so. Despite the fact that his store is filled with good looking but last seasons non-sold wears - I am more inclined to say try and shop there but Check Your Purchase. Odd sizes and selection based on what 2nds he could get. For me the principal of customer service is missed by Mr. Baron and one can see why he lost his chain of clothing stores. I have NEVER been treated with such disrespect and humiliating comments by a merchant. But then again - what should I expect from a cheap coat sold by a cheap skate. I left the coat there - I bet he tries...

As balance to the previous review, I would like to explain a recent experience. I have been a customer of Baron's for over 30 years and have always appreciated their quality service, top notch clothing and overall great value. Recently, however, I purchased two sport coats for my son who is heading off to college. To my surprise, when we took the jackets for alteration, our tailor pointed out a small "pull" in the fabric on one of the sleeves (where brand tag was sewn onto the bottom edge). She explained that it was not repairable and would only get worse. I returned the jacket to Baron's several days later and spoke with Mark. He inspected the jacket, apologized for the situation and immediately offered a replacement product. My unfortunate issue was handled with professionalism and ease, just as I expected it would be. I visited Baron’s for the first time, and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. I’m new to suit/sport coat shopping, and my salesman was exceptional. He was professional yet personable and extremely knowledgeable. What truly stood out to me was the personalized service I received. He understood my needs and preferences, offering valuable suggestions without ever being pushy. Aside from the exceptional quality and service, the prices are unbeatable.
