I remember when they first came to skowhegan. It was a wonderful day. When they left, it felt like something was missing that was well needed in that town. After enjoying the skowhegan store so much, I occassionally make special trips to farmington just to stop and shop at this store. Brian, the store owner, has always been an honest and kind person. Chris, one of their long time staff, is also a wonderful person. Often when I go here I spend a little while there. Not just because I'm shopping, but because I consider them good friends and people and will talk with them for a little while. I've bought a lot of things from 3d Games including rare games and game systems. It's rare that I ever have a problem with anything. And if I do they're quick to remedy the situation. I'm still enjoying my original nes game die hard. I still have systems that I bought from them years ago that still run including an Nes, original halo xbox, atari 2600 Darth Vader, and more recently an original gameboy. I also trade in games occassionally too and they take in most games depending on the condition of course. They also change save batteries in cartridge games which I'm thankful cause I don't think I could do so successfully. Overall this is an excellent store, the games and systems are spot on with the current market values, and the staff are very nice people. Support an honest and local business. After 6-8 years of not being able to shop at 3D games due to the Skowhegan location closing I am once again a happy and satisfied customer. I made the travel from Canaan because i knew that I’d be taken care of. Everybody there is extremely knowledgeable too. I came in looking for a 250 gig ps3 super slim and that’s exactly what I left with. They honored my ancient punch card and even let me keep it for old times sake since it’s ridden in my wallet for years. The store is very well kept and the alphabetical ordering of the games is a solid W. The games are in great condition and they even let me test the console before leaving. I don’t know of another game store that lets you do that. GameStop would definitely give you grief about something like that. 3D games has opened a lot of doors for me tech wise and video game wise. My 1st iPod touch came from there. My first tablet as well. Will absolutely be returning in the near future. This business has always been a positive recommendation that I’ve given to people looking for consoles and games. bought $25-30 in pre-owned ps4 games from them barely a couple months ago. Was guaranteed by the clerk that if they didn't work to just bring them back. popped in The Order a couple weeks ago, and the disc wouldn't run. Returned to the store the next day receipt-in-hand and asked for a refund, but they refused. I asked to speak to the manager (clerk did not suggest it), and the clerk placed a mobile call to someone from his personal cell. Then he told me the manager was unavailable but i could come in some other time and hope he was there. He offered me half the money i spent on the game in store credit. As if I'm gonna be inclined to involve myself in any further merch from them after this hassle. Good thing i hadn't spent much in the first place.
