UPDATE (Feb 25th 2021): DO NOT GO TO CANIBA NATURAL. Still havenāt received a response from the owner, but I noticed that they took down most of their rude responses to reviews. interesting. Are yaāll gonna respond to me though?
UPDATE (Feb 24th 2021): After several days of thought and review, I have changed my stance completely. DO NOT GO TO CANIBA NATURAL. I have waited several days to receive an apology (or at the very least a response) from the owner, and it's become pretty clear that the owner picks and chooses which reviews to respond to --and clearly, he has no professionalism in that task either; all of the responses to the negative google reviews are "Well it's not our fault", or "you are actually the problem":
ya'll don't stand a chance in this market.
It's a shame for this business because I became quite a regular customer at Caniba, but I am taking all of my money over to Earth Keeper in Wilton. It's only about 10 minutes further than Caniba, but it is so worth it.
Earth Keeper is a family-owned medical dispensary and all of their flower products are grown in-house and are completely certified organic--which means that all of their prices are considerably lower compared to the rest of the medical market in Franklin County. The price, at 25$ an 1/8th, applies to every flower they carry --it's all top shelf and they carry a huge variety of strains. I would easily compare ANY strain at Earth Keeper to ANY bud of Caniba's Premium flower --which goes for 35$ an 1/8th (and even their designer bud, which goes for 40$ an 1/8th). Not only that, but the service at Earth Keeper is supreme; and their shop dog (a charming old pitbull) was very sweet and did not try to bite us.
OG review from Feb 18th 2021: Caniba is great! Save for the extremely anxious pitbull mix that Hope (I think thatās her name) brings w her to work for some crazy reason. I feel really bad for this dog. Poor thing has extreme social anxiety and is super jumpy around people but Hope brings her to work in an attempt to āintegrateā her. Which I would respect, if it was actually working.
When we were walking around caniba, the dog would follow us around and stand in the doorway to the flower room. Now, I am not afraid of dogs, but I definitely DONāT want a skiddish one (especially a formerly severely abused pit mix with severe PTSD and anxiety) standing in between me and the only exit, especially when Iām between her and her owner.
My best friendās dad was bitten by this exact dog a few months back inside the dispensary, on his way out the door (thereās a scar and everything) and this girl had the audacity to call him a liar because āmy dog would neverā My best friendās father no longer goes to caniba because of this incident. He goes to biome or any other dispensary.
If you want some great weed but donāt wanna deal with a sad anxious dog, I would either skip caniba, or ask the girl to put away her dog before being served. She says her dog doesnāt bite... but clearly, that isnāt true.
Either way, great weed and service when the girlās dog isnāt there!! Brandon is great and is extremely helpful with finding me the best product for my needs. He is a wonderful salesperson and knows exactly what Iām looking for every time I come in.
Iāll definitely be returning to this dispensary because of the great bud, prices and how much I appreciate Brandon and his help , but I will be demanding that the girl put her dog away before entering the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWay too expensive and most of the weed isn't great, especially the stuff they grow themselves which is just terrible.
Editing this to respond to owner. I went back in today for the first time in a while. I probably went in with my girlfriend last time which is why you didn't have a record of the sale under my name. Today I bought 2 prerolls. One of them was hash-infused from another farm and one was a "connoisseur" level 1.2g of your own flower. Well, the infused one was close to a year old (production date printed on the label from September of last year) and the other was so loose and floppy I didn't even attempt to smoke it - not to mention the loose one was the stuff you guys grow, which as I mentioned in my original comment, is bad. Guys, "connoisseur" cannabis shouldn't smell bad. Terpless mids that make your tongue feel weird are not connoisseur level. This joint literally smelled like chemicals. Stop calling it connoisseur. I went back in and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNice store with a good variety of products. However I will never shop here again. There is a horrid little skittish pit bull mix in the store. This dog is clearly terrified of people, but the owner brings it to work, where is skitters about acting threatened when someone comes into the store. A shop dogs should be mellow, not a tripped out, unsocialized pit bull.
Pet friendly? Wow. I'm not sure it makes any difference if your dog is a hound or terrier if it makes customers uneasy. Others who still choose to shop here will appreciate the dog being kept in the office.
Oh look, they deleted their unapologetic response to the first paragraph. Apparently it's my fault their dog is threatening. I note at least one other (now former) customer...
