I go to Panda Express every couple of months when I get a craving for Chinese food and I can't find an authentic (read where local Ethnic Chinese people go) Chinese restaurants. Panda Express is characterized as Americanized Chinese Food and their fare is quite tasty, prices reasonable, place clean and tastefully laid-out; front staff friendly and quick. A word of caution though: don't get tempted to go all out and order a plate with more than 2 entrees and equal number of sides or worse, opt to split your carbs with half fried rice and half noodles. Doing that will overwhelm your tastebuds and you get an overdose of that Chinese food tastes. Your best bet is get a bowl with plain steamed white or brown rice, a single order of their entrees (all are good on their own but the taste profiles are quite the same including cooking method) then perhaps an order of egg rolls or soup for variety. Their latest offering of Beef and Shrimp (it's out in front so you see it first) is quite good with big tender beef slices and succulent shrimp plus mushrooms and bell peppers. I have an issue with server bias because I notice their portioning is very subjective and not uniform and depending on the day and time you go, sometimes you get a generous amount and sometimes you are not happy because she/he gave you a PALTRY amount, VERY UNLIKE THE PICTURE! If they used a weighing scale or actual count of x number of beef slices/shrimp pieces at least you know you get a semblance of uniformity. Pluses are you get to see cooks prep the ingredients and actually cook the food that you pick from a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe service at this Panda express location was not good.. The food was honestly sitting out to long. The shrimp was hard in some spots It almost seemed like the shrimp didn't get peeled even though it was. I was really disappointed. I don't understand why they may think that they are not wasting it by giving it out. The food should be wisely portioned to prevent a hungry person from returning it, because the employees did not do it first.. Not everyone can always stick around to get bad food and return it for fresh food. This was my situation exactly. I spent all the money I had left just to eat here and it was not enjoyable to eat. Although it was not my fault I felt that I had let my husband and kids down for my poor choice of a food destination. Any family deserves the best every time all the time. I was upset that I was a long way from home and I was unable to take the time to return the food and ask them why they didn't just get that right the first time. Thank you for loving money and not my family. No one should have to worry if they caught a fast food restaurant on a good or bad time. It should always be good because it's already a burden to know that we are losing our money to you to deliver nothing but the best. "Sorry, and I'll make it right on another day" is not okay to say. The worst is when you are too far away from Panda express to go back a second time and get it as soon as...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter a long day of driving from Albuquerque and climbing up and down service poles I decided to grab some dinner and head to the room. Upon arriving I couldn't order online due to poor service connections in Farmington. I attempted to call in the order unfortunately they would not answer. I would have loved to pull in the drive thru but my bucket truck won't fit. So I decided to walk in and order. After explaining my situation to the young lady up front she asked the manager if she could take my order realnfast and the manager instructed her not to take my order and that I would need to wait until the online orders are done. Well 30 minutes into waiting and watching cars and uber eats drivers come and go I finally got a signal long enough to place and order online. Pretty dissatisfied with their service and lack of consideration for my situation. I guess I wasn't essential enough that day. On the plus side power was on and communications were working. You're welcome...
