SLIM CHICKENS — Restaurant in Farmington

Too new and don't want to say anything bad. It was their first day so maybe they have some kinks to work out. Service was good. Food wasn't bad not really that good either. I'm extremely disappointed with the portion size I got for a 5 dollar order of okra though. My chicken woukd have been great the flavor was there but it was kinda stringy/rubbery, over cooked or it had been sitting out a while or something. It was like it was overcooked but it had been brined or had some kind of chemical tenderize added to it so it still seemed sort of juicy. Or maybe it had just been sitting out a while. Maybe the timer on the fryer just needs some tweaking idk. It would have been really good if the chicken was cooked right on the strips. The wings were about the same as the other 3 or 4 places in town no fat thin skin. Basicly same meat as wing Street. The sauce was good.Fries were just fries about the same as everywhere else. Okra was good but ridiculously small portion for the price. Potato salad was ok but nothin to write home about sort of just cold mashed potatoes. Coleslaw was good. Didn't try any of the other sides. The sauces and seasoning were good. And the service was good considering it was their first day open. I'll try them again and see. Part of it might have been I was in there at 11pm and it had been a long first day and they were selling stuff that had been out because they were trying to shut down. Amd the portion of okra was so small because that's just what was left and they didn't want to...

The drive though is set up in a weird confusing way kinda way to close to the intersection but that's whoever designed the buildings mistake. It can be a lil confusing or dangerous when you go though the drive thru so please watch out for incoming traffic from the light. That's my advice.

On a more to the point note, Slims is the best chicken in town, better than both Churches, kfc, or Popeyes. They even give you a good size portions. Tons of flavors for sauces.

Get yourself alot of Ranch from this place because it's amazing Ranch! No joke i told my girlfriend sometimes when im depressed i just want to get a large cup full of Ranch from this place and drown my chicken tenders in it while blasting Creed music. Tbh best Chicken tenders at this place.

Better than Wing stop, because these wings will fill you up and their bigger than Wingstops. And no body wants to eat wings from Buffalo wild Wings in Farmington trust me. So your better off getting your wings here and chicken here.

The dessert is great also the jars they come in are useful also. Nice personal touch. Service is great and professional.

First, let's start off with the food. I think it was amazing because it was cooked at a perfect temperature and the wings had a spicy smell, but they weren't too spicy but not too shallow and it wasn't dry it had sauce. The bread was amazing as it was also cooked good and it was somewhat crispy while it had a luring taste, I instantly consumed it. The fries weren't burnt or raw they were just right and also had a spice on it which gave it taste instead of being bland. The service was also really good, they served us our food within less than 10 minutes and you can choose your own drink. The employees were kind and didn't charge for an extra sauce, also would make sure what we wanted like specifying it. I think the atmosphere was good as it's pretty cold up here in Farmington and they had fans so you wouldn't sweat but it was around room temperature so it was like perfect atmosphere. The bathroom only allowed one person which was a bit annoying but my friend has used it and said it was really clean, but it also wasn't a long wait for the people in the bathrooms, luckily. Anyways, for my first time to this food place, it was way better than my expectations...
