A cashier with an attitude, rather than customer service due to the 25% coupon, can change a customers mind about shopping there. HF has been having ongoing issues since they've gone back to using coupon codes. And the employees are confused about how they work. Rather than help me fix it, the cashier said 'I need to help my customers' and turned her back to me. Rather than call for manager, she chose to argue with me about it. She did not have a name badge on so I couldnt address what cashier it was with the manager. The manager explained the code is at the register and the cashier is supposed to enter it. The manager called the cashier over to make up for the error, and rather than apologize the cashier threatened to quit, and still refused to provide her first name.
This is not how a business is run for success. Throughout the ordeal I attempted to keep the conversation professional. The cashier was saying it's not her problem, or 'I don't know' which is never the answer. You get the manager and the manager figures it out. Leave your attitude at...
Read moreEDIT: found an 8x10 medium duty tarp for the same price as the light duty at Walmart. Just so your customers are awareâŚ
Visited July 26, 2025 at 11:45am. Came in for a pool tarp 11x11 which was advertised on sale for $5.99 on an end cap.
Proceeded to wait in line while the employee took his time with the two guests in front of me. As I was about to walk up, a guy with a receipt and open box cuts the line of me and 5 other guests and the employee lets him. This already made me sour.
The second employee who disappeared moments earlier when there was a line waiting decided to show back up upon seeing this. When I told her the actual price of the item, she insinuated I was a liar and threw attitude at me. So I told her I would be shopping elsewhere and that they are insane for running the store like this.
This location has gotten bad since COVID like other places. Minimal staffing. Entire store has been rearranged so I have no clue where anything is. The attitude from the female employee sealed the fate of me not shopping here again. Do better for...
Read moreOnce I bought reciprocating saw here to trim some tree branches. 10 minutes into the job the tool burst in flames! Fortunately I only live 10 minutes away from the Harbor Freight store, and I brought it back, still on fire. The woman behind the counter had a voice like Droopy Dog. "What seems to be the trouble?", she said,in a very nasally Droopy Dog voice. I responded in a thundering voice that would make Billy Graham envious. "IT'S ON FIRE!!!!", I intoned.... Droopy Dog rolled her eyes, sighed because she didn't get paid enough to care, and took my saw, which still smoldered like the oil fields of Kuwait, to the back. I followed her enough to watch her drop the tool into a 50 gallon drum of water, quenching it as a blacksmith would quench a horseshoe. She returned. "Will that be a refund or exchange sir? I roared with laughter and said, "What do you think?", As we both savored the aroma of roasting home...
