At 6:13 p.m. on Tuesday, July 29, I had a very bad experience with the cashier register person, Prity, {on the 2nd register,} She was extremely rude to me. She treated me horribly. She was so mean to me. I had somebody waiting for me in the car, who had to get back to work, and she purposely tried to delay the transaction as much as possible, so the person would have to wait much longer. She insisted she knew the price of something that wasn't scanning, and when they did find the actual price in the back, it was totally different than what she said. She was trying to make the price much more than what it actually was. She kept telling me she knew the price, even though I knew it was a different price. When she had to give me my change back she was counting it by the register, so she knew I was watching her count it, but she counted it back again, to try to even prolong the amount of time the person in the car had to wait for me. She did this on purpose to make it a horrible experience for me. She also put everything in small bags, that required larger bags. I had to beg her for some large bags. She laughed at me when I left. It was my first time coming to Ollie, and she made me want to never come back again. She is a horrible employee. You can watch her in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy childhood buddy told me about this place and one day I decided to check this place out. I was very glad I shopped there. Bought small size carry-on traveling luggage with flexible wheels, Gain laundry products, and one box of funny Christmas cards, etc. I was mesmerized by the displayed products although me being present in that store with plenty of curious customers, I felt like a bunch of packed sardines. Attention Owner/Manager: We need a little of walking space to get by the customers, please. The staff were observed working hard to keep the products off the floor & putting back into its place. Customers and kids may be leaving stuff on the floor due to overstocked items nor the customers & kids do not bother put the products back In its place. Prices on the products are unbelievable cheap. I found the 8-piece set camouflage comforter set for my out-of-state friend who loves ā¤ļø it. She wishes she was there with me on that day. One of these days she will take a trip to Michigan to come into this store with me to buy Ollie's products. Keep up good work,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI came in looking for a cooking oil mister, but was unsuccessful. I was not entirely surprised, however, as their wares are on continuous rotation, as a reseller of discount items. For example, when KB Toys folded, Ollie's purchased a large volume of their inventory, and have been reselling it at steep discounts ever since. I can't wait for Sears to fold, so I can get all my name brand tools at slashed prices as well!
Their kitchen selection is unrivaled among the bigger chain stores, including appliances and utensils. They sport an overwhelming variety of goods in many other categories as well. One of the best parts about Ollie's is simply browsing to see what new or obscure items they have brought in since your last visit. The prices are also unbeatable, making it a no brainier when purchasing commodities. Think Harbor Freight of consumer goods. If you are looking for a niche item, try Ollie's first. If they don't have it, they'll definitely have something close, or you may have to return in a week....
