I’ve lived in Farmington, MN over twenty years and remain grateful we have this local chain retailer that makes it a quick run when we need household tools, handyman repair supplies, and services for common family needs.

It’s very clean and well organized for a small store; the manager understands what are the most commonly and often needed supplies to have on hand. I’ve stopped in many Twin Cities Ace stores over the years, if already in the cities, and in terms of the customer service that I have encountered, our local store is the best.

They are professional when engaging us, offer knowledgeable assistance, and give us room to shop on our own when we prefer that. We make the effort to shop here first to support our local Farmington, MN businesses. We’ve been amazed at all the additional homeowners services that they actually provide, such as:

• Car key fob repair. • Ice skates sharpening. • Basic lumber goods. • Hunting license purchases. • Ski passes. • Safety certificates. • UPS authorized shipping provider. • Carpet shampooer rental. • Battery replacements – such as for door bells and garage door openers

They carry many of the trusted brands that people look for; such as Green Egg, Toro, Echo, Craftsman, Benjamin Moore Paints, Weber, Yeti, Ariens Snow Blowers, etc. While they don’t typically don't provide on-site repairs or warranty service, they been great at putting us in touch with their vendors for such needs.

It provides in-store shopping, curbside pickup, and delivery. Parking is ample and signage is excellent. It’s an Ace Hardware store that is strongly...

I understand that smaller home town stores have to charge more because they cant order on the level of the larger stores, but I paid 16.99 for an item that retails less than 10 miles away for 7.99. the Cashier dutifully checked the price. All she had to say was .. well, it retails for 16.99 here. I contacted the store via email, receiving NO response. When I eventually received a survey option for the visit, I detailed my problem again, and asked to not be contacted by phone. At this point, I recieved a phone call and an email within minutes of each other. I guess they dont take complaints seriously until there is a record for corporate. It is also obvious that they didn't even read the survey before jumping in to...

I have found this Ace, in particular, to not only have a wider selection of products than you would think...but also that they might be the best business in the area in terms of customer service that I have encountered. They are Johnny-on-the-spot with engaging you and offering assistance. When I need help it's great to have staff that is ready to find what I need. When I know what I need they're happy to let me figure it out on my own. I always stop here first unless I absolutely need to make the 10 mile trek to the giant warehouse stores north of us. They almost always have...
