I have never been so dissatisfied with the service I have received in Steve’s blankets, which is such a shame considering I absolutely love the Owner and the store itself. This evening may have unfortunately changed my mind on doing business there, though.
I was NOT greeted when I walked into the store, as per usual with Steve. I was not once asked if I needed help finding anything during a 45 minute shopping session. During check out, the women was so busy on her phone- as I arrived to pay she simply tossed a pen and paper across the counter and walked away on the phone. While employees were grudgingly grabbing the 10+ stickers I wanted to purchase, it seemed as If I was inconveniencing them with the amount of stickers. Once I was TOLD to check and make sure my stickers were right, I noticed I had written down the number above the sticker I had wanted, instead of the one I was hoping for, so I showed the employee the picture I had took of them on my phone just in case that happened, and instead of putting the wrong one back and retrieving the correct one, she told me “Well sorry you wrote that one down” I wanted to purchase a lanyard that did NOT have a sold out sticker near it. At checkout as I asked where the lanyard was, the employee very rudely said “If I circled it on your paper we’re out” which was NOT even mentioned to me after everything had been grabbed, so I asked nicely if the one on display would be allowed to be sold to me, and I was told “Well I guess dude, we don’t usually do that but since you’re insistent I guess” and proceed to complain about my request (which could’ve been dealt with by simply saying no we don’t do that) the whole time she was removing the lanyard from display pointing out her reasoning of “Why she shouldn’t even be doing this for me” so my question is, why do what you aren’t comfortable with and then treat your customer badly for it? They were not attentive, to me NOR the other customers in store. I’m not impressed at all. If I hadn’t been in a rush already, I would’ve cancelled my whole purchase and walked out on all my items. I AM PISSED also the eyes were almost about to pop out???? I have brought a labubu from here before and it did not have any tears on it or anything. AND to put the cherry on top the service was TERRIBLE. If you have seen the real labubus on TikTok, Instagram or even on YouTube GET IT ON POPMART do not buy from here.
